2 questions:

1. Does the k700 have a International warranty? Based in the UK, wondering if I buy it in HK, will be covered here.

2. Is the HBM-30 compatible with the k700?

Any help?

@RealSpawn
I agree with you. No major bugs. The same experience as you wrote.
It works with FMA, but cannot browser content of the phone via FMA. Synchro, sms etc. works fine.
I have got the same version of firmware as you.

you won't be covered by warrenty if you get the phone from hk as sony ericssons warrenty only covers the country of purchase, but if you buy from the EU you will be covered in the Uk.

@donut, welcome to Esato and congrats on the K700

ok, well I have been thinking about it for the last few days and have also now received several PMs on the same subject.

While this was a great thread to discuss the K700 since the announcement, it is now becoming very repetitive and also long, leading to people to say its hard to find answers to specific questions. Indeed some people have already started to raise other threads asking questions that have been coveredhere over the last couple of days.

So, unless there is a big fuss not to close it, I will do just that this afternoon so that individual threads can be raised to cover individual topics thus making it easier for others later to find those answers (assuming they use the search )

Before raising new threads do please review the posts in this thread over the last week since people started getting the phone as quite alot has been covered. Also remember to look at any user reviews in the "K700 user reviews" thread and don't forget the
"Answers to the most common questions on Esato Forums (FAQ style)" thread

masseur,
Don't you think it would be possible to have a sticky thread which is locked from the beginning while you and other administrators or moderators can change whenever it is needed?

like this thread http://www.mobile-review.com/forum2/showthread.php?t=9404

Can anyone try (or maybe have already tried) putting a 3 mobile sim in a K700. I have heard rumours that although video calling wont work the sim will be recognised and voice/data calls will work as normal?

cheers
