I sure hope that there will be a new SmartWatch from Sony. Rumors are floating around that Apple is making one for iPhone because of how successful Sony was with the SamrtWatch.

Any word on a x10/Arc/P 4inch successor? It's the perfect size, I am dismayed at the huge phones getting the best specs. The P is a wonderful phone, I hope to get its successor.

Anyone else think Sony is being conservative in their sales estimate of 50 million smartphones for 2013 fiscal year? Now there are articles saying Samsung is predicting a very bold estimate of 350 million handsets sold -- in Samsung's dreams. The competition next year will be a lot tighter, especially with the entrance of Chinese OEMs to the global market and the resurgence of Sony and HTC.

The 2012 fiscal year ends in March 2013 which means 2012 will get a couple of about a month of Yuga/Odin/Dogo sales before all is said and done. That's the reason why I think 2012 sales will be higher than Sony's goal of 34 million smartphones and why 2013 will pass even their 50 million goal.

Not even when the pic is so nice?

I hope people don't really do this, very rapid changes in temperature can shatter even touch ceramic composite glass like Gorilla Glass 2. I'm not sure if Dragontrail glass will be impervious to this, although Dragon-type is 2x weak to ice...

it was a little meeting a hour ago but when anyone feels for a chat they usually ask everyone who´s online to go in to chat and it works like that so just look out for coming "come to chat" posts

Sony C650X ‘Odin’ design information

Whilst we have seen a plethora of leaked photos of the Sony C660X ‘Yuga’ (aka Xperia Z), there have been very few leaks of the Sony C650X ‘Odin’. Now we have word from a Vietnamese website, SE-Cafe that claims to have gone hands-on with the device, although they were not allowed to take pictures.

It gives the first hint of what design hues you should expect from Odin. Some of the information correlates with what we have heard from our own sources, so we have every reason to trust them. The device handled was a prototype version so there may be some changes before the handset is released.

Sony C650X Odin design features

– Odin is thicker and heavier than Yuga (Xperia Z).
– The back of the handset will have a textured (or even striped pattern) similar to the Sony Xperia E dual.
– A small cover on the back of the handset will allow you to hot swap the microSD memory card and SIM card.
– The front-facing camera will be placed at the bottom-right of the handset.

I like the Textured back idea, find strange the cover to hot swap. Front Facing Camera on the bottom? VERY UNUSUAL...

so the first think i thought about after reading this that YUGA (XPERIA-Z) will be the less of dimensions in the both of them

so it is the shortest also and the less wide , we just though it is not the shortest , but it will be the shortest and the less wide , with the glass or glass like back and up camera and metal body panels , with shock / water resistance

in the other way the ODIN (XPERIA - X) will feature as they say and will be also shock / water resistance and contain IR-Blaster

the ups of this theory to YUGA is a good upscale design wise , the downs is i will really get hot
the ups of this theory to ODIN is not getting this hot always , the downs there may be a free spaces in the front screen and not classy back
