A question!!
Is there a way to change the black theme of the new Media Manager of the K850i to another color? IIRC, I saw the Media Manager having a green background on the K850i demo video . . . |

Let's be honest, it's not too much hassle to press one of the buttons to see the time though is it? Anyone would think it was the end of the world.
The probles is that you can't see if the phone is on or off and if you have missed calls and massages.
I still dont see the problem. Like I said before it's not hard to press one of the buttons to see if it's on or you have a missed call etc. Unless you have no hands of course
it's not the end of the world...let's just say it's similar to having to press the "light" button on ur digital watch everytime u wanna check the time.

I think that this is the end of the world. I have now canceled my order for the k850i.
Will stick to the K800i instead.

On a watch that would not make sense since its only function is to show time, nothing more nothing less. With a phone its a difference. Beside, considering people are getting fater, the additional exercise you get with pressing a button to see the watch will just do you good.

Why would you stick with K800 since its display work in same way (you may as well have a K850). Would make more sense if you bought a phone that has the function you desire.

a clock thats active all the time would problebly shorten the standby time alot, altough I could see that an option to turn it off or on would be good, but personally I rather have the clock off until I want to see it. |

On my K800i I have a clock on the display and I can see if I have a missed call or message without ligt the phone up. So if the k850i display is all "black" in sleep mode and don't show miss call ans so one I can see how you can say that it works as same as the K800i.

I don't think it shortens the standby time alot but I think it shortens it a bit.
Approx. the same time it shortens when I have to light up the whole phone to be able to see if I have any missed calls or messages.
