I should've remembered that with the 6500 Slide, rhino. The A/F on that 3.2mp camera module is also automatic, unlike the N73's 3mp cam that I used to have well before that.

I wonder if the 5800's camera module is exactly the same as the 6500 Slide's, and the 3600 /6600 Slide etc models...

I have no idea, but it takes pretty decent pics, so i don't care much. Unlike most other phone cams, (especially Sony, since i have some experience) i can zoom, even on full quality, the bad side is that you do lose image quality, BUT it comes in useful at times.

The zoom on my p1 isn't too bad either.

I completely agree about that very good 3.2mp nokia cam module. You may remember the comparison pics I took with it and the P1i, and I was pretty impressed by the Nokia's better pic-capturing abilities on standard settings, in most of the pics I took.

Look forward to seeing more 5800 pics in here, boet.

@ Hobbster:
Well I'm glad that you're sharing about the iPhone experiences here; I'm enjoying reading about your findings and there's no reason to stay tight-lipped about such an awesome multimedia device, in other threads or wherever.
Perhaps it's fair to say that the peeps who throw the most stones usually haven't fiddled with an iPhone at all, or simply aren't able to think laterally enough, as regards all the advantages/experiences that it offers..

@ama - OK, I just remember seeing you posting images in this thread taken from that Nokia 6500 slide and you were very amazed with it . . .

You've got a good memory, mate.
There's another local bike show on Sunday, which I'll be attending, so I plan to put the P1i's cam through its paces again...

To take a screenshot on this phone, all you have to do is press the Home and On/Off buttons simultaneously and the screenshot is saved in your photo roll.Very clever indeed. No need for a third party app.

Heres the Ipod on the Iphone.Eye candy galore. For a music player I have to give it a 10/10 for sound quality (with a good set of headphones) and the whole visual aspect is just a fat bonus.
