Ok, well do it again for Vodafone's pricing. I'd hate to see that one (and can't be bothered doing it myself).

C510 at EI - $365
C510 on telecom - $400
C510 on vodafone - $550
Vodafone is about 39% more expensive than telecom, and about 49% more expensive than Expert infotech

NBR said some weeks ago that W995 would be $999 on XT.
What EI and PI normally do is release early at full price then drop their price when the official version is becomes available.

Hmm... what do you guys think of the Sony Vaio VGN-AW25?
I will probably get this one but does anyone have any other suggestions for a laptop with blu ray, full HD screen, at least 512mb graphics and at least 2.2GHz quad core?

Jeez that's expensive! I don't know anything to suggest, but are you sure you wanna spend that kind of cash on a laptop?!

I guess $3000 isn't too bad for those specs. And it's Sony so you're getting quality/style. I'd say go for it... But then, once I've considered getting something Sony I never change my mind.

yea my frined has a $3000 laptop and its really nice (macbook pro). The sony vaio has better spec than the macbook for the same price, and I probably wouldn't use osx anyway (or I might try to hackintosh it )

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Better specs than a MacBook Pro at the same price.
The only other company I can think of that does Bluray in laptops is Samsung, but I think you'd have a hard time finding them in NZ. HP and Dell probably do them too, but can't be bothered finding out.

Nice. Not sure what you'd really need that for at the moment, but should set you up for the future.

500GB HDD v 400GB
same $3499 price, not sure you'll get it for 3K though.
