AYA: Thanks I will visit the site. I want to explore this WAP thing. With the glo, they gave me one of those their dodgy email address and from their instructions using their email service will be rather cumbersome.

Everyone: I too have to carry two phones, starcomms and the vmobile/glo, would really love to carry just one.

The starcomms is a necessary evil.

@egunje: Your predicament is well understood. We expect things to change and look forward to a time when we have no ned to tolerate any "evils".

@mamba: Any news on Mtel GPRS? They seem to be taking their time inspite of all that noise

Mtel seems to be too slow with their GPRS deployment, the signal is very miuch available but it's unusable without activation and the correct settings. They've been bragging allover about deploying by march and they've failed to comply.

I guess Mtel's a joke afterall..

@Angel, i've sent the mms again.

Ha Ha Ha, why am I laughing, Mtel, Nitel, Telecom of Nigeria or whatever they wish 2 change their name to, ave started disappointing me since 1982 when so much noise was made on their analog landline, they claim @ that time that one dial and u can call anybody, (I'm not that old, it was my father's/family phone) then they said digital line was better we all know the story. since then any thing they say just take it with a pinch of salt, Like Wabara said I didn't take the .................. million naira(only true 9ja can fill the blank space)

Mamba: No its not. Its just the regular mobile phone. I use it to make cheap (relatively) landlaine calls.

Beats me; I have no idea, just baseless theories. No-one else has experienced that, to the best of my knowledge. Try again and let me know if it happens again.
