Doesn't X10 come with MW-600, which compensates the lack of build-in radio.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

Mods here?
if this tread had been seen by mods, it would be at max 10 pages.
The amount of garbage in here is just pathetic imo.
Sad to ruin a tread and a decent device with everything but real info and rant about it.
The kids in here should be in the kindergarden, or maybe these kids could have a rant/garbage tread on theyr own?
On topic, looks like the video rec on Rachel is more vivid than on the Vivaz, strange.
Maybe it's got better HW?

Just a few quick things about the stuff on page 144. Dolphin does look useful, a quick google brought this
http://www.androlib.com/andro[....]droid-dolphinbrowser-qDEz.aspx
Not looked in enough detail at the specs to se whether it would work with X10, can't se why it wouldn't tho.
Re: Supersonic, againa a cursory Google brought some reports in English, from places like Endgadget. Does look OK Specs wis, but onl 5.0MP Cam and IMO FUGLY esp vs X10.
Lastly, guys why can't some of you just grow up, this thread is about a potential deal/game breaking phone for SE, and if it lives up to most of the hype it will be good enough to do that. Not about you're personal preferences or spats.
At the moment at least 90%? of us are going on info rather than 1st hand experience so lets give this phone and SE the benefit of the doubt eh?

Even if it did what about the Track ID??
@ron.jeremy
We were going to discuss one of SE's devices like this one. We have seen the deep
I think that's why mods don't care how bad it is. But I'm sure when the phone is released this tread will be locked.

Ah, c'mon. Specs, do not maketh a phone alone!
Like I said, there will always be another phone around the corner with better specs. No one is proclaiming the X10 to be the 'be all and end all' of mobile phones. The Supersonic looks great although, I'm convinced that the X10 will be the better experience.
But that's just me...

I don't think you two have yet deserved the right to make fun of me.
At the moment you just show what ignorant idiots you are.
What's the matter Sakis? You got frustrated because poor X10 is overrun by so many devices before it even got out? You work for SE? Getting out of job? Feel sorry for you man.

It also means 16 million colours as opposed to X10's pathetic 65000. And it means multi-touch and all other benefits that Android 2.1 brings out of the box. The only thing where X10 is better is the camera but you are not buying this thing for camera anyway. If you want a good camera you get Satio or Vivaz.

Yeah but X10 is also around the corner. Long way.

Name one device that COMPLETELY outspecs the competition in every possible way and I'll buy you a beer. |

The notable advantage that HTC Supersonic has over the X10 is the Sense UI working on Android 2.1. SE's UX only runs on Android 1.6 at the moment which is kind of frustrating. Although sooner or later the update will come on X10, it is still nice to have the Android 2.1 when the the device is released. That being said, it gives HTC Supersonic a slight upper hand.
To mediar,
As far as I know, it is not confirmed by SE that that bluetooth accessory you are saying is included in the package. Although you are right about that it compensate the lack of built-in FM radio, built-in is still better for me. I don't feel like wearing that bluetooth headset just for the sake of FM Radio. I would rather wear another bluetooth headset just meant for answering and recieving calls.

Ok, reality check time.
HTC Supersonic is a LEAK. NOTHING has been announced or CONFIRMED.
The HTC HERO, which is a REAL product available NOW hasn't YET RECEIVED an update to 2.0/2.1.
Even though it was promised more than TWO MONTHS AGO.
The selective comprehension that goes on here is astounding and pathetic at the same time. |

I'm prepared to wait that's no big deal. If I'm gonna change my phone each and every time one with better specs came out then I'd have a new phone every few weeks and no money in the bank - go figure!

Why do people get so frustrated/angry when other devices are mentioned? I'm holding out for the X10 but am perfectly interested in hearing the opinions of trait... er others. Supersonic is looking good IMHO. The competition will, hopefully, force to upgrade the OS.

Well said indeed. If HTC hadn't brought out such good devices in the past then no-one would be forced to step up their game.
Android is a bloody godsend compared to clunky old S60 and I hope SE churn out more devices. 2010 is gonna be year of Android, SE have some catching up to do but this is just the start - hopefully

Can we not speculate about the leak? Besides, there is not much going to be changed about the HTC Supersonic when it is officially announced.
