How many apps you should have to to fill up 16GB??!!
You don't seem to get it, the 16GB, which is really around 11GB is shared by apps, games and other parts of the system, if you do a lot of web browsing or use other data intensive apps that will eat up a lot of the memory, so you have this to consider on top of installing lots of apps, lets not forget some games do store data in the built in memory.
I saw this crap coming long ago when I 1st looked at a GS3's Storage, then I saw the Nexus 4s with JB, made me realize that my future Androids will need 32GB minimum built-in if I don't want to have to keep an eye on my memory.
Well I do get it. As you I use a smartphone.
First, many apps ALLOW SD storage option.
Second, I have 60 apps installed and they eat around 650MB of my internal, plus 500MB of SD.
So still over 8GB left (on my T). C'mon. Browsing? Clean the cache once a week lol.

but why google is not allowing to move apps to SD CARD? how does it help as whole to the OS?

You obviously don't have a smartphone that is built around JB, phones such as the Xperia T and GS2 still have that split of internal storage, built in mass mem and then also external SD, that is NO LONGER case, you are no longer given the option to move anything to SD card, it's all down to the developers of the app, e.g. Apps like Flipboard have been developed to shift some of the load to SD card, while some apps haven't, hopefully more devs will do this now that we have many JB phones coming in.
This makes me wonder how on earth Nexus 4 8GB users get on, I've already used up over 6GB of the 32GB built in my GS3, with apps, games and other stuff, and I don't have a whole lot installed, although the apps and games I do have are large.

I have no idea why mate, I think they are trying to keep the system as clean and consistent as possible, I remember how much of a mess my GS2 was, I had apps all over the place, I was too lazy to even format as many apps had been moved to SD and so on.
Another reason is that they are probably trying to promote Cloud Storage, in other words, they want you to keep all your Media in the cloud, and keep just the necessities in the phone itself, in the long run this would mean OEMs would not need to spend much on memory chips, and they could bring prices down, but right now? This idea is far ahead of its time, data speeds are not what they need to be to make this work.

Wow, I can't believe that, but HTC One does really bad. That was really bad move from HTC, they could keep the megapixels, so it would sound good even if the cam is bad, now not only is the camera bad, it also sounds bad that HTC flagship is only 4 megapixels, lol. |

This is from one of the mods of GSMArena who wrote this article...
"Surely the Xperia Z 13MP samples are quite a mess, but when downsized to the HTC One 4MP resolution...well... Z's pictures are better. Or way better. Really good job, Sony!
Never thought I'd be so happy with my decision to exchange my S III with Xperia Z. The design is awesome, the battery life too. If only it could take as awesome panorama shots as the iPhone 4S/5, the camera would have been perfect. But nothing is that perfect, right?
We'll do a lot more camera tests for our review, don't worry
Kyle..."

Pipe dreams.
WRT tablets, the tablet market is even less clear cut than the smartphone one, people seem less concerned about manufacturer here. I'd say Amazon have a better chance, that's if they are not 2nd or 3rd already.
Content is king with tablets, Sony still have to sort themselves out in this department, the funny part is that they have all the resources, once again, these are the people who made Walkman, Playstation, have a bloody television station, movie studios etc... You'd actually think they'd be running the show, urrgh, it's so annoying to watch them not take advantage of all this, what a waste.

Integration of all Sony to work together is the goal, but it's not something that happens overnight. Kaz has made a lot of good moves since he took charge a year ago, but it may be another year or two until everything is fully, completely done and One Sony is fully realized. |

Now I understand why King James was that upset. The German Zs had possibly the worst panel ever LOL. 450:1 Contrast ratio !!!!! Absolutely shameful. Sony should at least have checked the quality of the panels before opting for a panel lottery system.
So people in Germany, kindly wait at least a month so you will get the Sharp panel and not shameful quality JDC panels.
Germany and demo units Worst panel, GSMArena got middle quality panel and Asian/UK/Japanese/French & few other countries retail models got the best panel - Sharp.
So JDC 1 - 450:1 contrast
JDC 2 - 650:1 contrast
Sharp - 1000+ :1 contrast.
SONY, please do not make this mistake EVER again for god's sake. At least not for a flagship. Even Xperia Tipo has better contrast than the JDC panel.
IMO Sony should replace all German Xperia Z units with such pathetic screens. And a public apology wouldn't hurt either.
