I looked on the o2 website and they dont mention that i can use Hotmail with a BlackBerry, is this just that they missed it out or is it not possible to use Hotmail email?

You can use hotmail fine with the curve, i did with no problems at all just go to email settings and add your account

I have managed to set up custom ringtones for my bold is it possible to have custom message tones as well?

Got hotmail working no probs, but now I'm really bafled how the 8900 knows you have taken it out its case, the screen lights up. How does thus worjk cis as far as I can see there is no sensor

It a works via a magnet in the case and a sensor built into the BlackBerry, similar to how the P990 knew when the flip was open or closed!

did you also know you can change the profile for when it is in it's case to ring louder for instance? or a different sms tone, or email or vibrate twice etc etc etc

One more question before I fly out if I'm on o2 on the unlimited bb tarif will I still get charged data charges for using bbm?

Hi!

my BlackBerry Bold charging pod gas stopped working. I can see the two connectors had sunk in and maybe the do not make contact adequately.



Is it worth trying to tease them out a little with tweezers or should I just a throw it in the bin ?

If you are overseas you will be on roaming charges. However BBM uses little data
