@ Gucci:

31" mags?! Dang, that's just mad. Hate to think how much tyres would cost for them...

Oh Boy does this one rock...
The screen is amazing (actually amazing is an understatement).
Typing is sooo easy and fast with the on screen qwerty and numpad input methods, and very responsive. Switching to my HTC / M600 feels that those phones doesnt have touchscreens compared to this one.

GUI is quite fast with the default theme, i will try to get more themes today and see how it affects speed.
As usual no real signs of a task manager on the S60 (or i just dont know where to find it, even worse) so i will download best taskman from ipmart today, so i can see the ram left after booting.
Sound quality is almost better than most walkman sony handsets (IMHO).

I have not tested the camera and video, i think ill wait untill i have decent subject matter for that.

I got the phone with 2 bars left in the battery, i played with it, music, video surfing and 2 phone calls between 5pm and 11pm last night, and from 6 till 8 this morning, and it just died on me, so now i am charging it for the first time.

The web browser is amazing too, the text is sooo small, and yet, it stays easy to read. A lot of websites i looked at is almost entirely displayed (width) on the screen with very little panning to be done, and should you need to pan, touch the screen and drag your finger in the direction you want to move the content.

WOW. I already love this phone more than i ever loved any other phone i had before this

Ive already done the Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 on my e90 GUCCI.Dont even bother. Its pointless other than feeding your curiosity. Its flipping slow and things are so small you cant even read anything.

Its all sounding very positive so far Rhino.Thats very cool.

My Iphone is in the shop.Got delivered today but I cant lay my hands on it till Monday.Hows that for shit.

Thanx a lot Hobbs, you've saved me both time and data, i realy didnt like windows95 nor 98, i actualy dont even like Windows in general (XP nor Vista) just use them cause all the PC apps i use are supported on them. I would have just installed 95 try it once then leave it lol.

YEs, but nothing really in my taste, ,most apps only work with a roundabout way, and there is still now working divx player,,, but im watching that thread every day. Oh and BTW, i have 61-65MB of free ram on my 5800, and connecting to wifi at work is a breeze... well i think i will love this phone at least for the rest of the year. My other contract only upgrades in January..

I'm enjoying reading all this hands-on 5800 info from Rhino.

@ Hobbster:
Dang; 38 degrees... it's 30 degrees less than that here.

Anyone fancy a FREE Omnia HD, directly from Samsung, if you're prepared to be an 'ambassador' for the handset? Check this out:

Also in the news, Acer are apparently making some amazingly cheap WinMo 6.5 smartphones:
