WOW, so I got a Vodacom brochure yesterday, they have the 5800 free on a talk 500 for R800/mo. To cancel my voda contract will cost me R1011, so I was thinking of the following option.
When my upgrade date is due, i migrate my voda to a TopUp 49s contract for R49/mo, and I take the new contract from MTN for R150, so in the end, I pay only about R50/mo more than i do at the moment. AND The Mrs is thinking of paying my R49 contract so she can use it in her data card, since i will be taking her MTN data sim to skip the sim and connection fee on my new MTN contract.
What do you guys think of that option?

Why do you have to pay R1011.00 to terminate your Vodacom contract?...Are you trying to terminate it before the 24 months are up?
What contract are you on now?...As far as I know you can only migrate going up and not down,so you might have a problem there.
So is the 5800 free on that R150 MTN contract?

Good start by the Protea's...78/3...Its just a pity Ricky Ponting was dropped (extremely easy catch I might add) by Smith in the slips on 40 just before lunch...You just don't miss opportunities like that if you want to be the best side in the world.

Because i have 5 months left on my weekender contract, I did confirm with vodashop that i can migrate for free once my upgrade date comes, which is the 12th of April.
AND yes, the 5800 is free on a MTN anytime 100 contract at R50/month.

Been an extremely busy Wanqa over the past few days. Been following the cricket on cricinfo. Very evenly-poised game so far. @ Hobbster: Let us know your sentiments re the X1 Files on/after Sunday's live handset dabble.
