another indoor DM 3.8 shot - i used twilight landscape for this one
what I like about DM drivers is I can just pop open the lens and take a very quick shot without much setup to produce fantasic images.

and this shot was taken with all auto settings

My old N82 performed a lot better in this regard.

dm3.8 is still beta, but it delivers great pictures
n82 is great cam-phone, but c905...BOOM

LOL. Some comments... Just make me laugh. Sorry, guys, could not resist. Some people just can't bear to see a hint of another mobile company here... It's like discussing either religion, politics, or football. Sorry about mentioning the name Nokia here. I am really sorry about that.

I would like to see you laughing in my face...then i would not be able to resis some things...just thinking of that makes me happy...

I would like to give suggestions to DM or other modders ... anyone who can alter the driver

I have looked at lots of sample pics and so far I am really satisfied with DM 3.8 Beta. Great AUTO result as well as terrific manual functions. It will be great if the "Color Saturation" be replaced with manual saturation (like the one that VIT mods - EMS). Color setting can be incorporated in this manual saturation setting so when we increase the saturation, some color values also adjusted to enhance the overall color balance. The reason is some pictures turn out overly saturated when using color saturation ON. By having manual saturation, we can adjust the saturation value accordingly.

Vit driver/EMS driver also great alternative, but the lack of some manual functions making a bit less flexible. Let me make it clear. I know that VIT has altered the ISO setting on some scenes (all twilight) to make it less noisy. The problem is we can only set the camera to these scene only to have a great result. Other scene setting will be less usable. With DM 3.8, you can do almost anything you wanna do. twilight scene not only limited to ISO 100, it can be increase/adjusted if necessary, etc.

I am just finishing testing my EMS driver rev 1.2, which will replace Beach/Snow scene by a new Twilight Landscape with ISO 200.

So we will have two renamed scenes under the scenes selection menu:

Nite Land 100;
Nite Land 200.

Later on I'll place it @ this very post, along with the new language file.

depending on what driver you use and what kind of shot (macro vs landscape). easy setting for indoor landscape (infinite focus):
original driver : twilight landscape, AUTO
DM 3.8 : twilight landscape, ISO 100, color correction ON
EMS : twilight landscape, saturation adjustment (if necessary)

If you're gonna take flash shots of people inside it, I would recommend my latest EMS driver 1.1. Here we've got two examples of flash shots taken with it. Pics look just more natural now. I really like it!

Some shots taken with EMS 1.2 @ Nite Land ISO 100 (this lighting represents a typical scenario where Color Tuning is much more helpful than any other function - I simply could not get these results without its aid):

Here we've got a littel shoot out with Twilight Landscape @ ISO 100 x ISO 200. (ISO 200 may look more bright, but the pixel to pixel quality decrases dramatically - we don't buy an 8 Mp camera to use pics just like we post here, @ VGA res):

You still haven't taken a close look at your low light pics. Yellow spots are there. Just take a look @ some of my earlier posts here @ this thread regarding this matter. It's a well known problem of this phone. Satio has it as well. See one of its indoor pics in a mall posted @ gsmarena.com. Zoom it @ its full size. Chromatic aberration is the name of those horrible yellow spots. It's a huge fault.

N82 have a excellent post-processing software but extremely agressive with the details.
Say this isn't a sin guys... Just cause a phone have a situation or more with better results than ours,is reason to quarrel?

It's still just a phone!And every phone have problems!With c905 isn't different...
Chroma noise can be minimized with a lot of programs.
Forget this discussion and concentrate on the purpose of the topic.
Cheers.
