@Rhino: Nice tv...you'll be awed as well if you go from 50cm to 32inch. HD is definitely the way to go.

@HOBBS: ROLMAO...of course it will have Tahoma and there'll be a bunch of people developing for it.

Sorry to hear that Brym.Hope someone can ressurect your thread so it doesnt have to die.

Brix You right about the price of SE accessories.I remember when I had my P990 and had to get a memory card for it.When I compared prices back then between M2 and SD the price difference was quite noticably different.

I Love Tahomabld at 80% ZOOM.lol

@ brym!:
Really sad to see that transpire; but there have been times when it's taken a fair bit of effort to keep this thread ticking over too.
Personally I don't think the Naija members should just write off such a great thread; it may just take one or two to keep posting whatever cellphone-related info, cellphone pics etc just to keep 'alive' and exposing the thread to possible other Naija cellphone geekstas n' geeksta wappers, and who knows...

Good luck.

@HOBBS: People have decided with their wallets and dumped SE and this is one of the reasons that they have decided to come to the MiniSD and 3,5mm audio jack party.

brym!: Sorry to hear about the Naija thread, I've not been there in a long time. Aren't there any developments in Nigeria regarding telco's?

@wanqa: As much as some of us would hate to admit it, UIQ had been flawed for years and that SE continued with the OS(up to the P1i) was an act in futility...just glad that the rug was pulled from under them by the developing community and consumers. I loved S60 on my N70- before it got knicked by a very fast Pinoy snatcher

@GUCCI: Yeah, MicroSD:grin:

About that new OmniaHD, I'd like to see them post a video on YouTube of its supposed HD quality. I'm just guessing the video processor will barely touch the 720p benchmark.

@ da brixsta; Yeah and the G900 and G700 weren't exactly earth-shattering leaps from the P1i either.
Like many of us, I will also miss UIQ.

@ rhino:
Congrats on getting that new 32" Bravia, boet! LCD is the way to go; we returned the plasma we had and got a LCD instead as well. Plasma life expectancy has dramatically improved, they don't heat up as much as they used to either, but they can suffer from 'screen burn' if things are left on pause for too long, something that LCD TV's don't suffer from etc.
