yeah price is always one of the biggest factor when buying Hp, maybe we should wait until P800 settle down on the market then can start buying

Yah, I agree. The problem is the only model where price fluctuates greatly is Nokia. Their phones can drop up to $200 within 2-3 months. As for T68, I've seen the price drop only about $150 after almost a year. (I'm talking about no plans, trade-ins, whatsoever) |

Hi guys! Been on vacation so haven't logged on for awhile.... can i clarify some things?
R5A.... is that new hardware or software? And are you entitled to free hardware upgrades?? Free???
Is the latest software still R2F?

gilt--> R5A is a new SW .. i got my LCD replaceed .. aft they checked ..it is the LCD discolouration and it is perfect now .. and the SC is near Novena MRT

Its at Goldhill. Exit Novena mrt, take the underpass towards united square. There's a Shell station nearby. Goldhill is just behind the Shell station and the sc is on the first floor. |

Word of advice though. Might be good to wait since many reported the sw to be very buggy and no major improvements again this time. |

That's the diff between a good phone(T68)->stable price and not so good phone(NOkia)

I agree but it also goes with supply and demand. I remembered having the old Samsung sgh-800 for around 2 years. When I wanted to sell it off, the price for a brand new one dropped around $200. But I couldn't find any good prices for trade-in. The max was a lousy $80. So even if good retail value, doesn't necessarily mean good trade in value. It all depends on the demand. My friend traded in the 2 1/2 year old 8210 for $220. Tough luck for those not holding Nokia! |

oh ok thanks alot for the clarification!!
I won't be going down so soon.... so have they fixed the dumb sms tone yet? wat kinda major improvements did they have except for the bugs? =)
how long did they take to replace the screen orang3? i don't have much time when i go down so hopefully they can do it faster.... if not means i have to go down only in december (sigh!!!!)

Hi Guys, sorry I did not read the post for these past few days due to my PC had konk out and will be ready in a week time for repairing. Now I am in the cyber cafe to access into the forum. Was surprised now there are more and more complains on the phone, sw's and even services. Sad to read all these threads. Okay, I am going to combine all your voices and forward to SE.
