I've noticed that too, only with mine it only happens with video-files. As long as I copy one file it's good but more and they dissappear.
I guess we've found another bug

Running R1N035

I just transfered 11 mp3 tracks from PC to the Memorycard in the phone using the standard usb cable as a test.

No problems at all. All 11 tracks are there and play fine.

Hey guys! I was wondering if you could all help me make the first page a little better by letting me know which of the UK branded firmwares can currently be updated to R1N and which are still on R1L.

My current belief is:

Unbranded - R1N
Orange UK - R1N
O2 UK - R1L
Vodafone UK - R1L
T-Mobile UK - R1L

Let me know if you this information is correct. It would be good if one person with each brand (apart from O2, because I know that!) could send me a PM or post into this thread something like "O2 - R1L (CDA 102338/16)" to confirm or correct my thoughts.

Additionally I believe ALL unbranded phones (for all countries) are on R1N. Let me know if my assumption is correct.

Thanks

Like mr_ppp, I've just updated to R1N on my Orange K750i. I tried earlier in the day and just got the R1L again, after I got the "your software is already up to date" message. This time, no message and a successful update!

Just to add I've also updated my Orange UK K750i with no problem. My memory stick is fine also didn't have to do any re-formatting. I did take it out for the update though.

I think I have a majorish bug with R1N035 on my phone.

Same shit here. I copied 4 folders including MP3's to my memstick thru the USB cable... only the first folder was actually copied to the stick. Next time I tried just a couple of files were copied. Can't really get behaviour pattern...

I also noticed that all my MP3 ring/message signals stored on memstick are corrupt. Sounds like they play too fast and the content comes from my other (music-) MP3 files!! The ring/message signals stored in phone memory are still ok.

All this after upgrading to R1N...

& would copy/transfer all the files out of the mem stick and format the card again using the k750i with R1N f/w and then copy all the files again using the USB cable...

Its a wild guess... [addsig]

Hi Guys,

How do i access the phone memmory data using the USB cable? I can only access the Memmory card through USB. The phone memmory data just can not be seen.

Also, when browsing on the phone (not on the pc) with the USB cable attatched, the Media Album doesnt display Memmory card data!

I have the latest RN firmware o Orange UK. No other weirdness to report.

Too late... After copying av few new folders of MP3's to the memstick EVERYTHING stored was gone! All folders were empty.

I'm happy I have backed up all my important data such as photos, videos... So now I have formatted the stick and we'll see if anything gets better.

what was the time period between R1L005 and R1L035? Just wondering when SE would next be releasing an update?

I dont see why they dont just get some workers, or users (us), to browse forums, compile a list of the most wanted features/glitches to iron out of the firmware and change it. And actually test it!!
I mean they cant test it very throughly for there still to be bugs in it.

I understand they wouldnt really want to ADD lots of features in a firmware as it would encourage people to keep the same phone instead of buying the next release.
