it's not a bug.
i think some region firmwares are like that..
the multicharacter search is in some of them...
and not in some of the others..

This morning I have updated my phone to R1ED001 straight from my K800 and am now very sossry that I've done it since I cant make/answer calls anymore. When I try to make calls I can only hear the two tone sound which attributes to no network coverage. SMS may be send/received but sometimes an icon saying "no network connection, try again" pops-up when I try to send sms. When I receive calls I can her the ring and see who is calling me but when I press "answer" nothing happens, but when I press busy it sends busy signal. PLEASE HELP as I am really frustrated with this...

Can anyone hlpe me? My phone now sometimes work and I am able to receive/anwer phone calls but most of time it behaves as if there is no network coverage but there is! It started behaving this way after I updated it yesterday through SE updates service...

I have a few questions...
I spent a day reading all your comments and now I need answer. I have my K800 with sw R1CB001, EROM R3A011, CDA 102295/7.

Is somebody familiar with this CDA?

I can not update my sw over SEUS or FOTA, I always get the same reply - you already have the latest sw!

By the way I am in Serbia... So, if somebody

So SEUS has the branded vodafone firmware on now?

Think I'll try to update mine (O2 branded) to see if they've also added the O2 branded firmware.

EDIT:

Just tried SEUS, still no O2 branded firmware.

Just tested the wifes 3-UK K800i and no update, still at R1CD001.

Interesting as SEUS just installed R1EJ001 on my 3-UK K610i.

Maybe an outstanding issue with the update on the K800i.
