it is good to hear you are safe masseur

it is ironic sometimes that you change your daily routine and something like that happens

i wise decision you made there

i have to say by watching the news you can see just how calmly the situation was handled

the emergency services were amazing they way they dealt with everything

I thank God this morning was dark and grey as I decided to have a lay in, had it been any other day I would have been bang spot on at Kings X around that time making my way to work...Scared the hell out of me, but then the fight continues..

Hope all you guys are well.

Ditto. I had been on the Piccadilly Line to Russell Square on the past four mornings. As it was such a miserable morning I decided to run some errands close to home.

There's an informative 5 minute video on the BBC with some background on al-Qaeda, etc. It's called...

"See why al-Qaeda are linked with the London attacks"

...but I can't get it to link properly. It's worth searching out.

I'm pleased to hear of your good fortune as I'm sure we all are.

Given that smaller towns are less likely to be targetted, it also makes some sense that they may very well be for that very same reason.

So you've let the terrorists win, Miss C.. They want you to be scared. You're MUCH more likely to be killed by being run over crossing the road than any terrorist attack. Are you going to stop crossing roads?

Not at all!

They could strike anywhere, anytime. They want you to be scared. The chances of you being caught up in terrorist action are minute. DO NOT LET THEM DICTATE HOW YOU LEAD YOUR LIFE!

Sure. Everywhere is on alert. There's never been a SAFER time to go out, with all the security services on full alert.

So you won't be crossing roads then? Or puting on the kettle (you *might* get electrocuted).

Life is full of risks. Terrorists attacks are a very minor one.

Im sure you are much more likely to be killed by being run over, but EVERYONE is going to be thinking twice about using the underground, thinking twice about getting on that bus, its what happens after an attack like this.

After Sept 11th london underground saw a sharp decrease in the numbers of commuters, this picked up back to normal after a few month, no doubt they will see a much lower passange count in the comming months.

This is enevitable, i know people that refused to go to work this morning, i respect that.

Sure, so don't let them beat you! They WANT you to be scared; let them know we will never be ground down by them.
