@ adrian_gab

I share your sentiments. I hope that someone would send this over to SE and by chance they can remedy this issues. Though i know that there's no chance they would be doing such cause the feedback that they received here would be the selling point for the next model that they would be launching.

Anybody know how I can control Windows Media Player with my phone?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go to bluetoothshareware.com and get the bluetooth remote, your computer will need to have bt also. I just got it today and not only can it control media player but itunes, powerpoint, winamp, can control your mouse and more, the trial version works great, but it limited by its number of actions it can preform before you have to click the return key on your computer yourself, but the full version is only $9.95 US and is well worth it i think

Greetings everyone...

I tried to search at Esato's board but I have not found any solution for the following problem I have with K750i. Perhaps someone in this thread could give any solution to my problem:

How to get the K750i/SE File Manager working? I am trying to access the internal memory of K750i through the SE File Manager.

FYI, I can access the external memory (MSD) through Windows Explorer.

Thank you in advance.

I have never (I mean that literally) had ANY luck with the SE file manager app. Actually I have had it working a couple of times but it always ends up failing for no good reason.

ditch se file manager and try myphoneexplorer:

I am only at page 4 so I don't know if this has been said before.

if your phone is half empty and you charge it then again when it reaches half again then that = 1 charge.

3 charges if your phone is a third drained = 1 charge and so forth.

How to exit from a running J2ME application that does not have any exit menu?

  • Press [BACK] button of your K750i for a few seconds, then release it after you see a popup menu appear on the screen.
  • Select Exit from the popup menu.

How to minimize a running J2ME application?

  • Press [BACK] button of your K750i for a few seconds, then release it after you see a popup menu appear on the screen.
  • Select Minimize from the popup menu.

Hope this help.

When I had my K700 if you muted it then the camara still made the sound, but if you went to settings and put the volume to it's lowest (silent) then the camara would shut up. Not sure if it's the same, could try it though. I hope to be getting this phone soon - Can't wait!

In standby mode if you press & hold any key from 2 to 9 it'll directly take you to the contacts starting with the letter that is the first letter on the key pressed, e.g.
pressing and holding 2 will take you to the phone book entry starting with a
3 will take you to entries starting with d
4 will take you to entries starting with g & so on.

from my experience, if u use ur lithium battery a lot during the day and have been charging ur fone nearly everyday. Soon you will find that ur battery life seem shorter. From my experience, use the battery till its nearly flat, do a full charge and keep the battery away for a while (eg. 1 week if u can), you will find somehow strangely the battery keeps its charge better.

I am no expert in batteries but i have done it for most of my phones from O2 to Nokia communicators to notebooks and somehow they seem to work better.

just my 2 cents worth,

Thanks for the great info.

i personally think a partial charge would not be considered as a cycle or 2-3 partial charges may be considered as a cycle. as lithium batteries don't have this memory effect, a full charge can only be considered as a comlete charging cycle.

anyways, the lesser charging cycles, we have to change our batteries more frequently.

When you install SE PC suite it places an icon on the desktop named 'SE file manager'. Connect your phone to pc with USB cable of Ir and then double click that icon, it will show 'not connected' then wait for sometime and it'll show 'my K750' phone icon now double click that icon it'll take you to explorer where you'll see 'phone memory' double click that & now browse any folder in your phone's internal memory.

BTW, is it true that Animated Themes or Screensavers consumes a lot of battery?

Hey I'am also interested in that firmware to change K750 to W800. Can you help?

BTW, I also have a problem in which SE support sucks (long story, I wont put it here). Every time I change a ringtone in a profile, ALL profiles' rigntones change. Any help anyone?
