actually red eye reduction is only available if you have the add-on flash, because k750 still only has a "torch" instead of a normal flash and therefore red eye reduction isn't possible....
but if i'm correct you can't get it with a normal torch so no point in that anyway, lol

Correct. But still even with add-on this is a unique feature of K750. |

* will it u be able to zoom in to a picture once taken?

There is a PictureDJ sofware for picture editing. SO I guess the answer is yes.

* how much is it expeceted to cost on pays u go, when its 1st released? (in £)

Price: around 430-650 EUR.
Release date: Q2 (May/June).

* will this and the w800 be the top models or is there a new model expected to be released above ie s750?
|
|
Until SE announces next models (onlu SE knows when), this will be the top of the line.

* people dont seem happy about the fact it has digital zoom and not optical... did the s700 have optical for people to be unhappy?
|
|
No. People are comparing with some Asian phonws, wich have or will have 2x optical zoom (but they are a bigger in size than K750).

Also when zooming with this, do u have adjust the resolution and make it smaller for you to be able to zoom like the k700??
|
|
On video clips I have seen it does not seem so. But I'm not 100% sure about that.

* what type of memory does the k750 have?? and what type does the w800 have?? Could you go through on each memory type, as it confuses me, ie which is cheaper, most capacity etc
|
|
Both phones have arounf 40 MB of internal memory. But also supports Memory Stick Duo Pro cards currently up to 2 GB (before christmas 4 GB is expected).

On K750 it pops up the activity menu.

That is an application programing interface and probably means that Java apps written for Nokia phones can be used on K750 and W800 as well.

@arne anka:
why is the red eye reduction only a k750 function, if i'm correct the new flash also works with w800 and the red eye reduction isn't anything more than a series of quick flashes... |

Its precisely those "quick flashes' that make the eye react to avoid red eye effect ;-)

The w800 will be available in august/september and will cost more than a k750,it's normal when you know that a memory stick 512mb alone cost 150$!!!
So get back to the real one...the K750 |

I only mentioned what it says on SE site. It only mention red eye reduction for K750. But not for W800.
It may happen that with W800 you can only get a single flash per picture and not the rappid pre-flashes needed to reduce red eyes.
After all, K750 is marketed as an imaging and W800 as a music phone. So I expect K750 to have some imaging features W800 does not have as W800 will have some music features K750 does not have.
In reality I realy don't know.

It uses passive autofocus, which means: by continuosly analyzing the picture, the lens gets moved into a position where the picture shows its optimal sharpness.
