I bought two MSI units and the plan was to link the firewall Linux box and the Laptop together. The Linux machine is a dual-boot also hosting Win2000, and with W2K-to-W2K i've managed to use the File transfer protocol but not Network access. Didn't try very hard cause I mostly boot it with Linux. Also tried installing USB and Bluetooth drivers for Linux, but haven't succeeded so far. The main use now is daily calendar sync, logo/theme/screensaver transfer and of cource use the T68i as Winamp remote contol to impress friends http://www.christersson.org/software_pccontrol.asp |

Hei laffen... Hilsen sven

Yes, this was off-topic
Even if Telenor's WAP-gateway is configured to accept elements larger than 30000 bytes, you won't be able to download them to a T68i.
The T68 is only able to display images with size less than 3000 bytes when the image is included in a WML page. If you link to images, like we do with the screensavers and themes, the maximum image size is 30000 bytes.
So it's a limit in the T68i, and not the gateway. |

Hi,
I just got my Bluetooth Transceiving Key (MS-6967) and installed the MSI Mobilet 1.0 software (downloaded fr the website). And I had this problem of reading the phonebook from my T68 (already upgraded to T68i software). Everytime it seems the synchronization runs and then it stopped towards the end of the phonebook reading; although the phone reported that synchronization completed. And then the Mobilet program hangs...
Currently I'm using the NEC notebook running on Win XP Pro. Any help please |

I have MSI 6967 and have installed R4A Ericsson package with the MSI Bluetooth drivers. My phone works fine for a couple of hours then I just can't get it to work. Anyone got any suggestions on what is going wrong??

Is the blue light blinking, a steady blue, or no blue light at all? If you experience the last two, reset the BT adapter by pulling it out and putting it back in again.

This is REALLY annoying me now.
It has stopped working again! I have changed no settings but it just doesnt work. I have activated BT on my phone and then activated the Bluetooth serial
connection which the program advises me is COM3. In Phone monitor properties in control panel all com ports are enabled and within Bluetooth
configuration the Bluetooth Serial Port is pointing to COM3 as well.
I have re-paired my phone and PC and restarted the BT serial port but as soon as I fire up Ericsson Phone Book & text message manager it disconnects. The same happens with christerssons Sendfile program.
Someone please please help me as I am going to go VERY mad soon!!
Thanks

Sounds like a config problem. But just to be sure, is the BT blue light still blinking? Are you using different programs communicating via bluetooth simultaneously? Locking all your bluetooth com ports in mpm will prevent other apps from using it.

MSI dongle is flashing 2 blinks per second and BT light on T68i is blinking. I have no phone apps open and I double click on Serial Port 2 in My Bluetooth places and it goes green and says that it is connected and is using virtual port COM3. I then fire up any phone app (Send File, Ericsson Phone and text manager, Mobile agent) and they cant connect. The serial port connection keeps flashing green on and off but nothing connects.
I have had to uninstall and re-install the software 2 times now and it works for a while and then just stops for no reason. It is soooo frustrating.
Anymore ideas??

there's the problem. you cant make FMA (mobile agent) work with MPM apps (ie PBTM, sendfile) using the same com port.
define a different com port for the FMA, and MPM respectively. and dont let MPM hoard all the bluetooth com ports (in my case i only let it use 1 bt port, and 1 serial port for my cable.)
you'll notice that if you first ran PBTM, then launching FMA will make PBTM stop working (or vice versa)
@jorns
i think you first have to copy the image from the mca to the phone, then send it from the phone to the PC. |
