those errors were due to a bug in an earlier version of multiserver. make sure you press info to update the client to latest (1.27)

when it gives an error make sure you take a screenshot so you can send to whoever you bought credit off and get it put back.

I am using 1.27. For some reason I still have my credit so that's not a problem .....

So,, I ve tried many configuration using Virtual ports + DSS 25
and....nothing always stay with "press on in the phone..."

maybe I do something wrong ?

I ve paired port 9/10 to virtual serial port, then I ve configured my DSS 25 to port 9.

Any idea ?

I don't think that there is a problem with COM ports (fe. FMA works and if you look in the options it works through COM port)...

There is an issue with TOTAL SERVER that will be looked after soon hopefully... My guess (that's just a guess I have no idea about all this stuff) is that there is a problem telling to the TS that I did press F**King ON button. If you choose COM port that is not in use you'll get an error. If you choose the right COM port you'll be stuck after PRESS ON... So TS is aware that there is something on COM port, but it doesn't know that it is K700.

If and only if anyone really managed to do the update with DSSxx than he was very lucky or had something on his computer that he even is not aware of (Mobile Phone Monitor, Old Drivers...)

But I am just guessing so don't blame me.

Take care

Although the DSS-xx stands are not yet supported, it would still be difficult to de-brand and flash new firmware anyway.
You have to remove the battery then replace it after de-brand without disconnecting the cable then flash the new firmware etc.
This means you can't take it out of the stand if you're using DSS.
I tried to remove the battery with the phone in the stand and found it impossible to get it out without the green LED on the stand going out (i.e. connection lost).

Oh well, prolly just have to buy the T28 service cable then, still that's only £15 including 1 credit from face-off.

I've tried to flash my phone a dozen of times and always receive an error. Multiserver says either ‘the serial speed is to high’ , 0x002A06 or 0x002A09.
I use the T28 cable from Face Off Mobiles. I have set the com port settings in device manager and in multiserver at 115200.

Can anybody help me out plz???

Did it!!!!!!!!!!
Uninstalling the com port drivers and letting windows install new drivers worked for me. Apperently I had some 3rd party drivers installed.

Ive Updated my vodafone k700i from R2A F/w to R2AA and it works fine, followed the instruction on the website.

I used a data cable from www.fonefunshop.co.uk

It took 3 days to arrive, a day or two longer than they said, but at least its here. I guess they're pretty busy with all these new people wanting to de-brand their K700's !

Seems like the server is down again... just as I got my credit.

Does anyone know if it will possible to use the DCU-11 USB Cable to flash my K700i?

Thanks
