S700 is on sale here, unlocked, for a freaking € 799.00
P910 is on sale here now for € 779.00
Why the S700 is more expensive I do not know.
However as the V800 will be subsidized by Vodafone it's more realistic to mirror it to the current prices of Voda's UMTS phones (all 2 of them ) combined with certain contracts.
And that tells me that here in NL it will cost anywhere between € 450.00 to € 59.00 depending on how big a contract you decide to take out.......
When V800 will become available unclocked..... I'd still expect it to be in the € 700.00 area
BTW for those on who's screen € does not display it's euro.

The only not so good thing is display department, I don't know but I still think 176x220 is enough and it will not be a big problem after all because it is still better than any handsets from Nokia.
Camera also seems pretty bad but rest of it is just perfect. |

I reckon we should all round up at his place and take out contracts registered on his place and then get the hell out of there!

@slass:
nice, thats a better price than i expected! its not that bad living in sweden and there will probably be some nice contract-deal too when it actually comes out. seems like it will be my christmas present to myself
@02:
ahh, brunei. i think the swedish king said something embarrasing about you (not insulting though) that was all over the swedish newspapers. thats pretty much all i know about you
@McKinley:
on what grounds do you say that? i hope you're right though! the earlier the better |

My friend at Vodafone store said it was supposed to come at the end of October but it will now come at the very beginning of November. |

02; The phones out right now are just prototypes, and therefore they don't have to be locked. Most of them are for SE internal use, and of course SE can decide if they want to sim-lock it or not when testing.
Phones that will be sold will have Vodafone SIM-lock. |
