Any news on resolution for getting SE HBH headsets to work yet? In case it wasn't posted here yet I believe Anlog atested to HBH headsets not working with this upgrade. Unfortunately, there are several other BT devices that have not been accounted for. So everyone needs to tread water at this point and hope there's some resolution to some of these issues that have unfolded. If BT is not of concern to you then this doesn't apply to you, just yet.

I think we are screwed in India.

The best choice is to send the phone say via Fedex to people like Anlog. They seem to be really trust worthy. This all depends, however on the assumption that they are ready to accept our mobiles.

Yes we have this problem in India
And if you go the Fedex route and even if it goes well and is posted back to you by Fedex, you will very certainly be charged customs duty for overseas postage of this calibre. I've seen this happening to even less expensive items here

Anyone else here from Sweden, that know where to get your P900 upgraded? I only know of one place and that is http://www.gsmteknik.se/ . It would be nice to find a place to do the upgrade near Malmo (South of Sweden).

My P900 uses firmware versions Phone:CXC162022 R3D011 Bluetooth: CXC12529 R5D Organiser: CXC162021 R5B02 CDA: CDA162003/5 R5A07

If I upgrade my firmware to the latest P900 firmware, is it possible to use 256mb duo or is it still limited to 128mb? Very interested in the P910a firmware too!

@boom713- am In Chennai...

@petrutms- check this link for howard's forum, analog has stated that there are bluetooth problems. I've read tht it does not connect with PC / PDA or with bluetooth headsets after the firmware update.

@Others from India: I think we better for coupla months and see if the glitches in the hacked firmware is patched... and if Sony fails to give a P900 firmware with duo pro, then i guess the firmware will be available here too, atleast in the Metros... i know a few guyz who are into these stuff (my friend did a nokia 3310 to 3315 flash;-)), so will tell u guyz if i get something from 'em!
