Well if the T650 has those kind of specs it'll definately be my next phone, best delay that upgrade!

dont foget that se tends to stagger its release dates (if they are on time) so parts of europe and the middle eastmay get it this phoen if its real end of summer ie july/august but uk etc will be waiting anohter couple of months.
i seem to remember this been thecase with the p800/t610/and p900 |

yeah but eldar also stated that t6500 was delayed till september....
here's the actual qoute:

it's T630 + more memory, loudspeaker (it's embedded in platform, minor changes in software)...
mostly would be available for some European operator...
two others model which i MENTION AS t650/t660 was postponed to 3Q (sales begin in end of September)...

Yep. This one from picture even has some space for operator logo under keyboard (like t630) |

On this last picture u can see that the back is similar than the SO505i/SO505iS's so this is not a 3rd new model!

So, in particular, I don't think that "T650" will be equipped with an 1.3Mpx camera but with a normal VGA camera. About the GSM/GPRS version of SO505i/SO505iS I think that will remain a 2.5G phone model like in Japan and I don't know if it will became a smartphone(and it's not the new version of P900!!).
Now, the only thing do is waiting some official information.
P.s.: finally my dreams comes true: to have a GSM/GPRS/(maybe EDGE) version of SO505i/SO505iS!!! |

And if you see the back of the phone you can see that it's thiner than SO505i/SO505iS because the camera is in relief than all phone and I don't think that the all phone could be bigger than SO505i/SO505iS.

We’ve prepared a general review on novelties from Sony Ericsson. Now we know “most probable” features of the SE T650. The model will come to the North American and European markets. There will be the support of GSM/GPRS/EGPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz networks, GPRS Class 12 and an extra ARM codec. Like previous models (SE T610/630) this one is equipped with IR and Bluetooth interfaces, integrated 1.3 megapixel camera, 176x220 pixel color LCD, 8 MB of RAM, built-in voice recognition system, stereo handsfree. The T650 supports Memory Stick Duo, MPEG1 layer 3(MP3) and MPEG4/3GPP. Taking into account the fact that Ericsson company participates in the consortium the Bluetooth adapter will comply with the Bluetooth 1.2 standard (100 meters distance). The novelty is likely to appear in summer 2004. |
