Hmmmm, might just be if you are at the back of the que then, i think a lot of people have been waiting way longer. I would be suprised if its that far off considering a lot of other places seem to have been getting stock over the last few days....

Just called them 30 seconds ago.
He said they aren't sure when they are getting the phones in as Orange still haven't sorted them out. He was hoping for end of next week but doesn't really know, and my salesman will call me when it's available.
Bit of a joke this isn't it.
Might get an spv e200 instead :-\

Pachy...

No, the phone was not in a bag, but there was no sim card in it and no calls had been made, so no great harm...

Although they could have taken some better pictures for my "welcome pack", their laminate flooring and gaumless staff, do not good wallpapers make !

I will keep them though, just in case I want to take it back, this could substantiate my claim and prove that it had been used before I had it... they also serve as a means of preventing the postman shoving bills through my door... one look of the likkle P900 screen bearing one of these monsters sends him running...

@KSE, i see, so if the phone gets fault you can show the shop that it has a "Couple of gremlins" in it.
Reminder; milk, sugar, crisps, post letter.

I'm begining to think they run a rotation system for replies, tell caller 1 "today", caller 2 "tomorrow", caller 3 "next week" and caller 4 "we dont know".....

Then they go back to the begining and rotate again. They probably even do it as a drinking game slamming down shots afterwards for whoever messes up and gets out of turn.. I know i probably would..

Just spoke to customer services at OSPS, the guy said that the last batch that was due failed a software test at Orange, and that was the second batch that Orange has held back. A new batch is due at OSPS early next week.

I just like to tell you according to Orange who made an official statement regarding bugs in the software there are none.
I had spoken to someone at Orange who assured me their is nothing wrong he also read out a statement that was on their system saying that they are looking at taking legal action against the websites that reported any problems.

This topic never ceases to amaze me...

We are now on page 11... nearly page 12... (Edit: it was on 11 when i wrote it, on 12 after i finished!)

And there are still people waiting for OSPS to send a phone...

C'mon people, no business deserves your custom after making you wait this long, when various promises have stated you should have them sooner, but have not materialised...

A firm who cannot give coherent answers to questions posed will also prove problematical if anything does go wrong with your purchase... just imagine trying to return a faulty item... more falsehoods i presume

It is possible to get the P900 from other sources surely... i got mine from the high street just last weekend... maybe places who have them deserve your custom more than those who fob you off by saying you'll have it soon, but don't deliver?

I am in the unfortunate position of having returned a faulty p900 to them. I have no phone, no sim but do have a £45 line rental charge for an Orange account which I can't even use (for nearly 2 weeks now!). Suffice to say for firm that prides itself on its customer service I am extremely disappointed. For some other opinions look at http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/shopping/online_shops/onestopphoneshop_co_uk/_review_list/

For all those waiting to get connected, do yourself a favour and cancel - don't leave it too late like I did.

I agree with all those who say quit the business with 1stopidiotShop..

I have waited over 3 weeks and eventually ordered it from mobileshop.com for £90 on Yp400.

well Check this deal with Orange...

P900 on orange on YP400 (£50/month) = £299
Less any old phone (£30) = £269
Less Introduction discount (get any orange usr to introduce you to Orange network to qualify) (£50) = £219

Then because there are NO clawbacks with Orange, change the next month to the lowest tariff..

simple.. ehhh

Yup, i quite agree, people would probably be better off going elsewhere and paying a little bit more for it. Since we are waiting on 3 of them and are saving about £300 over the cheapest of the other retailers through OSPS i'm kinda stuck with waiting for a while longer however, which is really starting to annoy me as they haven't even sent out an invoice for the cash they have charged so i have no way of claiming it back through expenses from my company and getting it back on my card before it starts amounting interest as yet.

Also getting distinctly annoying that my ever helpfull salesman at OSPS seems to have a bizarre email fault that allows him to read incoming but not reply.... Either that or he has never heard of read reciepts and doesnt realise i know fine well he has read them so thinks he can just avoid me.

Oh well, i live in hope that they will get them soon, otherwise its time to start giving other companies a hard time to get their business sales teams to match OSPS's deal.
