Anyone noticed the pro-i type frame as well? This "mysterious" slot does not show place to insert fingernail to open it.

Yes that is me, no leaks sadly so far. I have received various information, a lot of it nonsense, but the main thing I have been hearing is the earbuds will be smaller than the current model.
Like I mentioned, sony has plugged a lot of leaks, and not just in mobile.

Yeah, I heard they are getting a lot more strict with leaks in the recent years (especially since 2022).

Oh I follow your blog all the time! Awesome to know that's you. Im debating if I should get NW-ZX700 once the price settles down in about six months or should I go and grab A300 instead. My A55 still runs strong especially with the mod but I hear really good stuff about A300. And finally they refreshed the UI |

cheers much appreciated. Would be cool to see a new A60 model, heard nothing about it but maybe. The A300 is good but expensive and if you don't need streaming services, the A55 is still a great player.

Anyway, 8G2 devices is very nice using as Bluetooth source because of Qualcomm "black magic". Tested with certain LE Audio Sony audio products and I can achieve 1.5x in range and higher bitrate vs 8+G1 devices.
Credit where credit's due, Xperia 1/5IV are the only device that receive LE Audio update (I did said this before, too lazy to re-quote my old post ) The rest are too lazy/dont want to update their existing devices with it. |

You have said once 7g1 was on pair with 888, but cooler.
I am talking about the Plus version. And made at TSMC 4nm.
At least the antutu of realme powered by it is almost same of devices with 8+g1. Over 1 million.

Only devices I can think would be LinkBuds S with the new LE firmware, the wh-ch520, they are certified for LE audio, and new WF-C500 model. New WF-1000XM5 should have LE audio but nothing certified yet.
I do believe Sony was a part of the team for LE development at some point. I'd have to look for the article.
From what I've been told, battery life will improve on wireless products but it won't be a major increase as people would love to see.

Hi guys, glad to see some OGs here like Rac and Toni!
Is there any talk about Sony working on a foldable phone? I think that would be the logical next step after the 1 Mk series... we are into the fifth gen Mk series and it is getting a little stale... I hope Sony will base their future flagships on the concept of foldables...
