I think that keeping the near pure Google UI is a big plus. I hate what some companies do to the UI.

Sounds like a level from the the original Super Mario Bros.
The phone looks good in my opinion though, if the specs are what has been leaked then could be a very good mid range device especially if it has 32gb storage and an IP certification.

Damn that XA looks huge for a 5 inch device. While every other company it trying increase the display to body ratio Sony is giving a sh*t. I can't say I like what I see. Why should I buy a 5" device with the footprint of a 5,5" one? |

So, really if, going by those rumours, there will be no high end compact to look forward to this time around.

Big sensor without a bump.
screen ratio above 70% so don't understand the complain and overreacting

^potentially 2 larger than average sensors if you include the selfie cam and also it may have Stereo speakers too so no complaints from me. I actually think it looks decent, I just hope it has an IP certification so its the natural upgrade from the M5.

Sensor size of the main camera has no influence in bezel dimensions. You can get rid of any camera bump by making the device a bit thicker. Take the new s8 as example. It has a big sensor, high display to body ratio, but a small bump on the back due to the fact that the device is quite thin 7.3mm if I'm not mistaken. Thinner than the average bezel monster from Sony. There are 2 reasons why Sony goes for monster bezels. 1: they are simply technically not able to minimize the bezels or 2: they don't want to because their main and home market love the big bezel design. |

@JohnnyNr.5
Oled screen helps a lot with thinness mate.about 3mm thinner than LCD so yeah my point still stands buddy. by placing camera above screen and mother boards main components ,Sony gets relatively thin and devices without a camera bump.not the best but I still like the design.
