nice comparison. i agree, fireworks seems to have produced the best results. Would have been nicer if the letters in the signs were clear and not overblown. but that's the thing with night shots. you get one or the other most times.
Sigh.. makes me miss living in the big city with lots of fun things to take pictures of.

If you refer to "picturesque Quayside" images, they look quite "average" to say at best. Lots of noise, lack of sharpness, some quite blurry even in 8MP (when viewed 100% size)  Far right side is quite blurry comparing to left side. Superior Auto mode has nothing superior in it!

@xperiajunkie - yea for such a bright, sunny day, there seems to be a bit of a haze over the pics that seems to add some weird fuzziness? the far right side seems blurry for some reason, far left too though not as much as right. i need to take more shots and see if mine does the same..

some shots from around the neighborhood showing off the beauty of autumn
all shot in superior auto mode one handed! i'm actually a bit impressed by how well these turned out as superior auto was not producing very nice shots for me before. but these actually look pretty good.
