How To Add Icon On Your Site
1) Choose image or drawing for your icon.
i prefer to use adobe photoshop with 64 x 64 pixel size.
Once done re-size the image to 16 x 16 pixel.
2) Save the 16 x 16 image as a BMP (uncompressed).
3) Rename the file.
Example you named the image myicon.bmp, then now is the time to rename it to favicon.ico.
before renaming it make sure you unhide the extension for known files.
(in "my Documents" click Tools>Folder Options>view and uncheck the Hide extensions for known file types.
4) Copy the file to your webserver.
OK, so now we have an icon. Now upload this file to the root of your webserver.
done!! ^_^
