The new version is shown underneath the phone on the right, and is the newer version mentioned here.

I think SE is unnecessarily sitting silent. They should come clear and make a statement. Their silence is only giving rise to speculations and no speculations are good and healthy for SE given the fact that they are banking heavily on the success of this phone.

We can see they are trying to do something with new firmwares. But the new firmwares (may be for Silver) is not giving much changes other than being faster.

http://seusdb.10001mb.com/ shows SE has released new firmware for Aino (U10) ..
Where is Satio's ????????????

I think we shouldn't jump to conclusions and wait for a mass release of the new FW.
This one is perhaps a beta one they are trying in a very limited numbers of CDA

Dont get me wrong im not an iPhone hater. In fact i'd love one. I've liked it since it first came out 2 years ago. But for me it just does not have the functionality i want and need. Still no Bluetooth file sharing ? i use that function every single day of my life.

What for? Just curious. I was never a big user of this before the iPhone, not sure what I'd use it for now if I had it.

it is cool that a new firmware has been released and we don't know
what is the changelog.
when nokia release a new firmware, the changelog is usually published on all world mobile site,
for SE there is no changelog, only a new firmware...

I will never understand why...
Download FPC Bench a good benchmark/system info for your phone.
Download Pocket Inclinometer for your phone's accelerometer.

I also think they should release a statement. I don't think anyone knows what's happening with the Satio... CPW have stopped doing the Satio... ad are waiting a new firmware... we were old it would be week 48 definetly. Now only a few people have the firmware... I don't know where I stand... are sony recalling the phone?!

Hi nfj9,
As of now are not recalling the phone, but some retailers have decided not to sell the phone until the software errors are fixed in an update.
Thanks

I send today email to SE tech Support with question about new FW for black Sato and posted them list of bugs in case they didn't noticed bugs. The reply was fast, about half an hour:

Dear Sir,
Answering for your question, we recommend that You should wait for new FW which will be available for two weeks.

OK I will wait

I would rather wait 2 weeks and get a proper FW update than take a ''just got speed'' one
