Hi All – Over the last couple of weeks there has been a few, OK more than a few rumours that the X2 is going to be delayed until January and I’m sure it will not come as a surprise when we say that these are well founded.
The software worked fine but when we started integrating it with some of the network specific apps it threw up a few issues which we’re working to fix.
It’s all minor tweaks really (extending the battery life and speeding up aspects of the software), but we want to be sure that when we ship this it is as good as it should be and that you don’t have to constantly upgrade the software as we iron out these wrinkles.
So… we’re launching first week of January. Really sorry if you were looking forward to getting hold of one before then but it will be worth it when we get there.

Still, at least the Satio's out in time for Christmas. If you can find a shop that'll sell them.

Is there any one that can show me pics of an qwerty board from an swedish X2 i want to se if it has "åäö" hardware buttons. i realy want this phone but this is a big problem for us users that have åäö in our language.

BS. WinMo 7 will be only in october or something like that, 6.5 is still pretty new by the time that X2 comes out (january). I think they actually did a good thing, because it would be lots worse if there will be something like with the Satio/Aino again.
The X10 story is true, BUT: There is no other than Motorola announced an Android 2.0 phone yet and X10 will get an update asap. So I see no problem there too.

X2 and X10 are just classic SE all over again - missed opportunities. Had they put as much effort into developing these products as they have pre-publicising them, they could have actually been on the market now and racking up sales - instead they're just going to be swamped by the competition. Again.

the phone is out, on sale, and you can see it with your own eyes. end of!
