I can see it. Its either bigger resolution or the same just less grainy. You have to look hard to see it. |

Well i have seen a movie from the LG Arena (not 1, but a few since my friend has one). It is very decent. But 1 thing. the sound is AMR and mono. Not even close to the C905. But the video quality is good. What can i say.. it's enough for me, and quite close to a mid range camera. You can move, jump, etc. it is still good. Also look at the Xperia videos taken at the release and look at some samples now (they bumped it up like the C905). The problem is the compression. Back then C905 1 minute was 2-3mb, now 6-7mb. Since storage is not a problem now, hope compression will be smaller.
You will never get a professional quality video or picture from a phone, but you CAN get a very satisfying result.

it has a small led near the earphone. lighting up red when charging. hope its glowing when receiving messages too, like P series... small detail but makes the difference |

nokia,samsung and lg will respond with 12megapixel camera phones by q4 2009 so with no exmor sensor SATIO looses the only thing that is good at this moment... |

But WHY are the so late? I really want this phone! This or a Samsung. Untill this is released, the samsung price will drop, and again SE lost the battle, because people already purchase other similar spec phones. 95% of the users don't know that SE has better software than others. So we here at esato are the only 5% who will wait for it. The rest isn't impressed by wow Satio is coming.. They will look at the pixon12, wow 12Mp, let's buy it. Satio is another dead phone for the world.. It is alive only for us at Esato and other SE fans. Pity again.
Funny thing i remembered: SE is always the first to ANNOUNCE 8 or 12MPx phones, but almost last that RELEASES them! :/

I totally disagree with you. If the new samsung 12mp pixon had a completley new interface and new smarts and feats fair enough, but its just a Pixon with a 12mp camera, there isnt a difference between the Pixon 8mp and the Pixon 12mp. So far the Aino has the edge and retailers will know this. Even though the Pixon 12mp is released earlier it hardley makes a difference, because June-September is hardly the peak selling time for mobile phones. Christmas is and the Satio is out just in time for the christmas season, at christmas is when most upgrade there phone so by then both phones will be availble. And since its in the Pay monthly market it wouldnt make a difference if the pixon 12mp dropped in price as nobody is going to buy one on PAYG.

This is a preemptive strike by Samsung. By the time Satio hits the market it will be hard to attract the consumers that are looking for the top-of-the-line camera phone when there already have been a cheaper model available on the market for several months.

well, SE could quickly release new version of C905 with 12MP... right?
SE raised the interest of 12MP but Samsung will get real benefits ($$) as first
marketing fail vs. marketing masterpiece
