Well @garlic_bread said it was posted to @dicky so we can only assume that it was sent off before he actually posted in the thread here. 8 days is a hellava long time though tbh... really hope this hasnt fallen at the first hurdle! If so, i'm sure between us all we'll be able to muster up a cheapo  for the cause

Me? Just thought First class is 2-3 working days that's all.
8 is 3-4 times 2-3 working days

Dicky lives on one of the Channel Islands afaik, so the delay could easily be due to customs, dunno how long it normally takes to send a package to the islands.
The phone might also have been sent Second Class, this combined with customs could take more then 5-6 working days (1 week), I'm afraid.

customs only check parcels going out, as they could be subject to VAT.
royal mail delivery times apply to the channel islands so i should have it by now. |

Thats what i was thinking too. Or any capable ms duo pro for that matter... I only have an S700 - which is battered. Unfortunately offloaded my other along the way!
Annoying thing is, Mr. Bread only needs to just get this thing off the ground.. if he doesnt have time to update 1st post etc etc @masseur has said he can do that. So it's just the initial push that's needed!

Just to point out, exams start on the 11th of this month for me.
I won't be free until July; exams finish on the 24th, but then I have a Sixth induction and a prom to worry about.
I'm free after the 6th July, but I'm off again on the 20th, to Turkey. If you would like me to take the phone on my travels, I'll be happy to do so, but, I won't be posting it 'til I'm back in Britain, which is the 20th August. I'll try and have it out for the 21st, if that's okay.

Yeah definitely, I think someone needs to take the bull by the horns on this. Perhaps if no-one has a spare phone like the W810, we could all chip in to get one... for the Esato World Tour Fund!
