-perfect- can u give me some tips on how to take good pics? i've just bought LG Secret and i dont know how to take nice pics.
BTW, what software version are you using? |

there is only ONE tip you ever will get. wait for good sunshine.
Secret manage "only" really good pictures when its a lot of brightness. (its super high post-processing makes it very hard to shoot cloudy, low light/indoor and night pictures of course)
just so you know

if you want a cell phone who ALSO manage good low light/indoor or night pics.. buy K800/k810, C902 or N82......
edit. im not saying you should leave your new phone back. im just saying Secret dosent have some super good allround camera...ok !

Auto it's ok,but sometimes you can note a tendency to underexpose the pic. You can see it in the screen before shooting :in that case you can adjust le light level.

@wasil... does Secret have manual ISO-settings. (thats maybe a good thing to improve your pics)

@davicool....like you see on the first picture its to much noise when it gets less light. (sun set pics, there you allways have the sun shining straight toward you, thats why it "allways" looks sharp.
i mean more low light pics like this:

I agree that the weak point of the secret is to take indoor pics with low light,in that case you can try to put 200 iso. |

Those nokias and LGs cameraphones are just best for point & shoot.....But cybershots cameraphones are those require more skill ....I think plankgatan is one of those who has a little bit of skill in photographing.. |

Wasil, i use all auto to have nice pics, sometimes you can change the ISO to 100.
Try to use all auto and after edit the pic decreasing 2 notches of contrast…you will have very good results.
My software version is v10a-06042008
Post some nice pics to show the “secret” of a good camera phone!
Plank, even with cloudy light the Secret beats your phone...

The phone that can “menage” the REAL low light is Nokia for now...there isn’t a real low light pic that you have posted in the other thread (the pic above with the sun light that come through the window is not low light)...probably we meen different low light.

Secret produce crappy low light, indoor pics. night pics shouldnt we even mention. havnt seen one single night pic who looks sharp. and Perfect, you havnt post ONE single night or REAL LOW light pictures.
this indoor pics have such lacks of details, AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN TAKEN IN REAL LOW LIGHTNESS.
you can dream how much you like, Secret have still one of the worse allround cameras of all high end phones.
with real low light, i mean stuff like this, (not some pictures taken inside the mall with hundreds of lamps all over)

It's quite good actually cause I expected worse from Secret. But at least, you don't see much oil paintings effect on those pics.
