Phone is now OFF the coming soon list, which means stocks hitting shelves within the next week or two.

Support page up on the SE Corporate site:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/corporate/support/products/w890i

Phone has an SAR value 1.38! I think that's a bit high, though probably still won't stop me from buying this beauty.
I am very much looking forward to this phone.

are you sure?

do you have a phone with v3 on you or maybe some one who owns a k850 or w910 can confirm this?

i know with the video player you can do it.

My W910i has Portrait, Landscape and Automatic options. The W890i won't have the automatic option because it lacks an accelerometer, but you will still be able to manually switch it to landscape! In my opinion having an accelerometer is a bit of a gimmick, but it is very fun to play with!

Expansys have it for £10 more and suggest availability from tomorrow

silver was my choice when I got the w880, but the mocha w890 is very appealing

May the phone be with u Sony Ericsson

Again we r seeing yet another ridiculously overpriced product, the release price equals the w960i current price. The asking price is to much and wont appeal many.

I received an email back from SE India, they suggest an MRP of RS16,995.
That works out about £217. I hope that release price is right. It's going to be very tempting.

@Masseur, Expansys have pushed release date back to 3 Mar 08 as per their site.

What would recommend for a horizontal case?

I am just praying that £217 price remains right.
I would be tempted to buy it on the first day and try live with any bugs if there are any.
