Was finally able to update my firmware, apparently my unit is Singapore/Latin Firmware, oh well. Some observations:
+ Photos are definitely better for up-close shots, the subjects are no longer washed out with lights.
+ It sounds like the bluetooth stereo out is louder and clearer. Don't know if its just me wishing it, but it certainly sounds it.
- Opening the contacts list in a new SMS is still slow with a perceptible delay, a little annoying but not so bad.
- Overall, the phone does not seem any faster.
- Bluetooth Power Save On still produces error with iSync.

dear friends,
mine is /52 but i'm eager to use davinci team to flash to world generic, what i am asking is, as a newcomer, do i need to install the USB Signed Flash Driver?
i have done this, turn off the mobile, remove the battery and replace it after a while, plug the usb to the phone, and it's in master reset mode, but when i tried to install the extracted USB signed Flash driver, i keep getting the message installed unsuccessfully, what could go wrong? |

You only need to install the PC-Suite and SEUS - all necessary drivers come with it. It is important that when you plug usb to the phone, you keep the key "c" or the internet button "@" pressed. The driver installation should start then automatically. Then the phone screen will show a blue flash and keep dark then.
If SEUS recognizes the phone, all drivers are installed fine and you do not have to install anything else and Davinci will work.

Right... Phone crashed on my last night... In the form that I could only access the Task Manager and holding the Back button resulted in being stuck on the Connections Manager screen... I was trying to push the device to see if it would happen as per the previous firmware and it did so there is no change there!

Hmm... Tried this after the whole uninstall/reinstall business (including clearing up all temp. files and cache in IE7)
I get a prompt, that the dll is registered, but still SEUS gives me the same error message as before.....
Should I uninstall/reinstall SEUS after the registration deal, reboot the pc, or am I missing something else ???
Sorry to jump in the middle of this but are you running Window Blinds? I could never get SEUS running a PC that had that installed. What it was about Window Blinds that tripped a flash error, I don't know.
