that's bad, right?? >_<
Is there any way to change that to make the picture quality better? Or is the only way changing the driver? But I doubt that's even possible with the S500 right now

I know I shouldn't compare N76 with S500 but as both phone is a styling product even in different price range...I need to do this

N76 is a total crap when it come to being a style phone...all the plastic or metal part it have is like having wavy finish....this at least on three unit I saw including the one I bought twodays back.

to make things worse...i got a unit with uneven gap on the flip which....the keypad is impressive with back light on but the feeling or usage of it is totally lousy...so many key and cramped into one small area...yes S500 lost it with the recent breakage thing but even if those key breaks...I believe it still work...tht's at least is what I feel when I test the S500 on the shop which I bought the N76....as the key is better spaced on S500

for so much money I spent....i also ends up getting a very very tight battery cover like on N76 like so dude get it on his S500....I think this one on N76 is even worst because you have to push until its like you exert strong pull force using your hand...i think one day I will drop my phone due to this.

best part is....my unit keep on rebooting for no reason....this is like the first S60 phone I got and it just give me very lousy experience....I never heard S60 can be so unstable....it could be they make it so slim until is just spoil the robustness

For the price of one N76...i can get two S500.....which I should do it so I can share it with my wife.

guys i think you are forgetting the purpose of this phone isnt to be a hotshot camera or music phone!!! ITS A STYLE CONSCIOUS, FASHION PHONE!

The majority of ppl who buy this (like myself!) will buy it coz it looks v.nice in the flesh and doesnt have amazing features! If i want to take pics i use ma dslr cam, if i want to record video i use my dslr cam, if i wanna listen to music i used my creative zen... and when i'm not doing any of that i have ana amazin lookin phone that ppl actually notice and say "wow! whats that phone its gorgeous!"

I've had mine now for bout a month an upto now no keypad probs, no battery probs, pics r ok to snap with but nothin special! (this aint a cybershot phone!)....

Feel free to flame like everyone normally does... i dont care lol.

I don't see how you can get flamed for that matey.

There is a demand for no-nonsense fashion phones. Some people are just not interested in what they might see as gimmicky cameraphones. Samsungs sliders fall into this category. Just basic style phones.

Dslr can't record movies
I only hope I can take descent spy pics of cute girls at beach
Samsung U600 have an exellent look and a brilliant 3mp cam BUT you can't change themes and can't freely add games...and personally I preffer those options on taking a photo once a month with a slightly better cam phone
Anyway SE should come up with a new FW that give less compression, that's all

I don't have a S500 yet but I think this guy has striped down the original ones into small themes that can work on k800,I have open the xml of each theme and found nothing on wallpaper changes, somehow you can also try the forum ''themes'' from se-nse they could have the complete ones...
