Iondah, make sure that you have the all of the drivers, and Java installed.

The situation last time with the K700i was with networks not wanting users to update using SEUS because of instabilities. That's why we used to get 'Your operator does not authorise the use of this service' or something. I think the delay now is just a case of SE uploading all of the different firmwares with different customisation etc. for different networks to the server.

Nothing to worry about - just be patient.

For those who cannot go through the update, I would recommend re-installing the "USB UPDATE DRIVERS", even if they have been installed during your previous update.

I am on UK o2 online!

Yep, me too. We'll just have to wait until they release it, IF o2 release it.

Has anyone been able to update with the europe_3 version yet?Is there also a possibility SE are going to exclude some language versions from the update? I don't know if this has happened before, but I could see it happen now since most other versions do have the update for some time now.any comments would be most welcome.

Best regards,

Nghia

edit: now when i try to update, the java applet doesn't not get past the popup message "initializing device...please wait".

EUROPE_3 is out for some, maybe most customizations. I have an unbranded K750i with CDA102338/48 customization and I keep getting a message that my phone is up to date with R1L002 on it. I guess all we can do is be patient and wait till R1N035 is out for us.

I was just about to come here swearing about how angry I was that I haven't been able to update my firmware all this time, and I was about to write a nasty email to SE as well. I bought an unbranded K750i in Australia for $750 and I had the following info:

R1L002
prgCXC125952_EU_1_CLR1L002
R1L002

Customization
CDA 102338/59 R4A
cxc 125953 R1L002
EUROPE_2

Anyway, I just went to try the update one more time before getting really angry, and it actually worked! I've tried about 15 times ever since the new firmware was out and kept getting the same stupid error that I had the latest firmware, even though I know I didn't.

Well now I am happy to say I do, and first impressions are VERY positive....

Menu speeds are definately faster. As are loading of java games, and the picture quality of the games (at least the tennis game) has definately increased! Before I couldn't see the ball half the time but now its much more clearer and looks a lot better.

Thumbs up from me so far, well done SE. I will test the camera and volume out tomorrow but so far so good!

Is anyone here getting communication error during flashing? I think SE has resolved this. I successfully flashed after several failed attempts.

My opinion on the NETWORK COVERAGE.

I have owned a T610 and a P900. Updates for these phones promised(or people noticed) a boost in the network strength, but in reality there was no boost.

After the R1N K750 update, I've noticed the following:

In the basement of my house I usually have 2-3 bars. Now I get a full 5 drops to 4-3 when making a call. No distortions or voice breaking up during the call. Put in mind that houses in my country are different. They are built from a cement mixture.

HELP!

Got the updated USB UPDATE drivers, installed the SE disc - got my phone switched on and connected to the USB with the official lead...

But the update java applet just sticks on 'initialising devise please wait'.

I've been at this for 2 hours now... anyone know what is wrong please?
