Yes this is what I mean you can choose screen sizes with the games on the K750i...

shame this does not hold true for the vids....
I cant see that option anyway....

On the Game you have to go into more (right softkey) B4 you load the game of course.... [addsig]

Incredible, a new feature i never knew existed! now i see it thanks to you lol, indeed totally agree, should be implemented for the vids too

Just tried it with super tennis, guess that game isnt one suited to it, even at the highest selected resolution i can only see part of the sega logo lol, guess that one needs default settings

True, but it is also common sence to think before speaking or posting hughe "problems" that doesnt exist, or making assumptions that are simply wrong.

If people dont know, they shouldent post threads stating that the firmware has reduced the number of colors of the screen, but instead ask if they have doubts or suspecisions.

Its not only wrong information, its also wrong assumptions both that firmware has anything to do with it and that colors are reduced, as well as being based on no real knowledge.

I dont mind people asking at all, thats what forums are for, and thats why I participate, both to ask and to answer.

But I do get annoyed sometimes when you witness how wrong information are blown out of proportion and spread like wildfire for no reason at all.

My applogies if I step on anyones toes when trying to clear up mistakes like that before it completely floods the forums.

@numb ;
really I feel shame to have disturbed peoples there and shoked some of them. It was just a panic and I was really at the point to reflash my phone with the R1L002 version if you weren't here, to share your knowledge with everybody.
Apologies for this one more time !

Therefore, I am having a really big problem that i don't know if it comes to someone else ;

My only one problem is with the GPRS !
it hangs sometimes and sometimes it work okay
never i had this before with T630, K700i
since i bought my k750i, R1J002, i'm having this problem
Next, i updated to R1L002 and now, i'm on R1N035 and still the same
Sometimes, at lauching, sometimes when connected, and sometimes at disconnecting ... the GPRS signal hangs (i can hear tata, tata, tata.... on my home speakers when i put it close to them).
even if i put the phone off, it still the same ! then i remove the battery and put it again and on !
Now i found a tip to get over it, i do *# then call it return an network error but, seconds after, it disconnect and then i'll be able to use GPRS (for wap, internert, mms, emails, java apps...)
I dont know when SE will fix this problem !

It's annoying me to reset the connection with *#call many times in a day and night. even the option 'close connection' dont work !

Help !!!

You make valid points and many a forum where I been comments like mine rather than yours would have blown into a flaming war....

I am glad to see I am amongst civilized people for a change...

On a diferent note (£20) Im afraid it seems that these assumptions with no fundaments (knowlege) will allways exist.... trying to create problems where there are none is another way of seeing the glass half empty rather than half full...

the www generation needs to learn that the www is the most powerfull weapon anyone can have (knowledge)...

But it is easier to ask (like we did when kids to our parents or others) then to go in search for our selfs... I for one am adventurous.... now my parents ask me...... Go figure...

Keeping it in perspective is what I try..... You said nothing wrong that offended me in any way.... I just wanted to tell you I felt your temptation take the better of you...

your ok, you all are....

Im the one out of order....

No need for appologies, its absolutely ok, my own reaction was equally panic influensed

The gprs problem you are experiensing seems much worse
I have hardly used gprs other than an occasional mms, thus havent noticed any of these problems myself, but it definately doesnt sound good.

I was definately a litle to quick on the trigger in my reply, and I was honestly glad you reacted like you did, both in terms of reminding me and in terms of understanding how we occasionally "heat up"
Like you point out, atleast most of us in this forum are able to "heat down" again and stay friends - thx

I'm a very old SE user ! since GH-688
I've used GH-688, GF-788, T10, T18s, T28, T20, T29, T68m, T68i updated with all the firmwares till R8A with (12 games !!!); T630, K700i, now, K750i R1J, R1L, R1N035.

I've never been so disappointed as i am with this last phone from SE !

those are the points i noticed since i updated to R1N035

- Video bitrate improvements
R1N is about 195kbps fps 10fps, very good job SE
- no Improvements to photo quality (just little less noise in dark)
- Bluetooth stability not fixed (sometimes crashs when transfering files)
- alterated display(was my first impression when just updated and
boot up my phone so, pictures seems less sharp.
- Improved reception (the signal strength indicator tends to be higher than in previous firmwares) ??? 5 bars but monitor indicates 71%
- Increased MP3 volume.
- MP3's via headphones are little louder (well to me anyway)
- Java apps run more faster but still have bugs (ex. audio in
castlevania just after entering into the castle) where R1J didn't.
- Backlight doesn't come on again to show time after phone locks.
- GPRS still, sometimes, have a bug occured when disconnecting or when connected. must do *#/call to disconnect.(at least in my case?)
- Bluetooth have to be activated before using java apps that use it (ex. BT Explorer)
- Can't add more than one favorite network.
- LCD red flash when swaping between video and photo

/// ... to be continued as SE make updates to update the problems...

I agree with all remarks made about R1N above.

A little off topic but you mention castlevania, are you talking about running vnes? Surely there isnt audio in vnes anyways? Well not as far as I can rememeber..?

Do a master reset on just the settings. I had the same problem with R1N and that seemed to fix it.

I'm talking about castlevania, a java game used to be on first nintendo in '90s....
the music is fine but just after entering the castle in the first level, the sound become crapy and discontinued...and the game start to be little slow...
