Directing me to a EI webpage with a gorgeous Red T700 at $385, the W980 at a stunning $444 and C905 at $799 only makes things worse!

$799 is the upper limit I will spend on a phone, I never thought I'd see the C905 at that price.

Yeah that W980 price is amazingly good. Must be hard to get rid of! Too bad it doesn't have your DLNA, etc.

I know. I've always said W980 should have wifi but it seems that until the C905 arrived and changed things, SE couldn't put Wifi in a feature phone, only UIQ phones like W960 and P-Series.
G705 at $485 is a great deal too. Oh what to do? Buy a great cheap phone or a great expensive one?
For me the W715 cancels out the W705, but the low C905 price rules out the W715. So If I was going to spend $600+ I'd get the C905.
If I'm going to spend less than $600 then I have a wifi option in the G705 and two stylish options in the T700 and W980.
Plus a new Generation of iPhone may be announced next month...
And XT are still to release pricing on the W995...

Sounds like you wanna give it a bit of time. You have a lot of choices, and some aren't even out yet. I'd say the new iPhone is at least 2 months off arrival.

Funny you should mention that. No we don't. I'm quite sure WAP tricks don't work here because our networks are far more advanced and secure than the networks in the (often third world) countries where tricks do work.
I say it's funny though because I have just been made aware of a little trick that Vodafone prepay users can use. It's not for WAP though. If anyone is interested PM and I'll let you know, but only trusted members. (I'm not saying it on a public forum)

If you're willing to install a fibre cable from your house to the road, they'll probably let you connect. Why don't you call them? |
