Good question!! downloading I do not know how it works... but it works like a breeze!! i downloaded an AVC sample clip from IGN, its a 10MB took me no more then 3mins... sending a 1.6MB pic from one PSP to another using AdHoc took no more then 3sec... Saving a pic from the internet is just a click away. Kinda fast.. and it depends on ur broadband connection... i have a speed of 54.0Mbps shared with 3 pc... maybe thats the reason its fast...

PSP max is 11mps

Arghh the question of Mbps vs MB, you have to remember that even though the PSP is a MAX of 11Mbps most of your internet connections dont pass 2Mbps. and with latency and overheads the 11.b will drop its speed from 11 to about 9 or 10Mbps,
10Mbps=1.1921MB
and most of you have 1Mb lines=0.11921MB hope that helps

I upgraded both kids PSPs to version 2 today and the first site I went to on both PSP browsers was esato and the browser seems to work great via wifi
my son soon found the ability to have your own wallpaper too and he's very happy
coincidentally, I also bought them FIFA and Mercury this week and they are very happy with those games
actually, every time I see their PSPs with 4" screen I wish I had one even though I don't play games much

What version of the PSP are you running? and what wireless bandwith are you on eg 802.11B or 802.11G..The official listing is not going to be to different from the US one so not much to report there.

@Zmastaa: i think u re related with pspcrazy lol
at the news "8/5/05: Breakthrough for Homebrew on 2.0 Already?" the given link at the end of the news is not working. i need that link for the breakthru... lol
and at all:
i have an idea on downgrading the PSP Fw which i inspired from my ipod. I will first tell what im doin with my ipod: i installed the latest fw on it (just like the psp, it is not possible to downgrade firmwares on ipod) then i downloaded an old firmware from web. After that i opened the sytem files of ipod and changed the machine id in order to make ipod think it has v0.01 firmware, so that it will accept to install v1 firmware. Im sure we can do the same thing with PSP, but HOWWW????
i mean, we will make our v2 installed psp think it has a v0.5 fw and then it will accept to install v1 again. or we can try another way: we will open the v1.0 fw update file (which i dunno how to do) THEN CHANGE THE UPDATE File's id to make it get read by psp as v2.5 ....

errr, sorry guys. well after browsin thru some other psp forums i found out that my idea has been already tried. but theres one more thing they tried. if we can reach the PSP's machine id and can change it then we can be able to install an old fw. but i again dunno how to reach that system files....

You are not able to play any homebrew on PSP FW 2.00
No doubt it will be hacked, but I bet that is no time soon...
As for a guide on how to use homebrew, why not tak a look on the folowing website; www.pspcrazy.com
