To pull you out of this argument I have an observation. The K850 comes in either blue with a silvery edge or green with a black edge right? so why do Vodafone have an image of the K850 on their website showing blue with a black edge??
compared to...
Look at the colour of the mode switch next to the shutter release. Do Vodafone have a blue/black combination? I want one if they do and I'm going to be a very very happy person come Friday/Monday when I get mine from Voda.
By the way, I went into CPW today and they didn't have any K850i s on the shop floor but I asked the guy behind the desk and he said they were due for today to be released but have been put back to Thursday. I asked him for a dummy model to look at and he pulled one out from under the desk. It looks good, in my hand the screen was bigger and the keys smaller than I expected and it was suddenly very obvious the keys were black. Matt black. I'm excited now! it's like Christmas Eve back in the days when I got good presents for Christmas!
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

I prefer the blue/black/silver edge version anyway. Ever seen the K750i?
Imho the blue/black sides pick is a photoshop gimmick done by Voda. If they do get a Blue/black one I'll be very surprised.
I deffo need to get this case for my K850i! It looks beautiful.

This is actually not new. It is on the Ge[me]rman version of this site where Sony Ericsson posted faked K850i photos. If you go there today you will see two "funny" things:
1. One forged photo is now labeled "digitalkamerabild" (digital camera photo).
2. The remaining three samples are clearly shot with the K850i as these suffer from purple fringing

I agree that it'll probably be a photoshop but it seems odd that they'd go through the effort photoshop-ing it just for the effect on a interest registration page + it could possibly been seen as false advertising. Not to mention it's not totally unheard of for Vodafone to receive their own versions of Sony Ericsson phones. This could just be a more subtle way of imposing their network individuality.

Has anyone noticed that in "K850i video" from web page the K850i has bigger screen than on pictures? |

Last week I played with a black dummy with silver trimming, yes I mean black. After realising that there isn't a black version I went back to the shop today nd the dummy is still black with silver trimming. Anyone with an idea of this black version? |

When voda recieved their own exclusive phones in the past, they have always had a different name. They could get a all black blue one, but in my opinion the green one does look better against the full black, especially now that they seem to have changed the camera rim from silver to green on it.
I wonder if the keys still have the same blue backlight though, as thats now the only thing putting me off from wanting the green one. Green phone with blue backlights is just wrong and hideous.
I love the green line around the black phone, it defianetly looks classy and stands out a lot. Update the backlight to be green too and it would look amazing. I remember my SE T300 used to have a dull green backlight. The green K850i just needs a brighter version of it.

OK FOLKS................I spook with support in Linköping some minutes ago....AND GUESS WHAT !!!!!!!! (for you who maybe didnt know this).
the protection glass on k850i lens, is mineral glass..........(i asked him twice...and he confirmed that is mineral glass)....
[[when i asked him about the protection glass, he look in his computer, and their it was.
(he said; "the glass inside the "circle" is minerall glass")]]
that was realy important for me...i had my doubt about this protection glass before...now im calm
