I just really hope it DOESN´T have a resistive touchscreen. They are not very accurate and require a stylus. SUCKZ.
I´m waiting to see the modifications has done to S60 to make it finger friendly. They r getting late in the game but sometimes that´s a good thing. |

No. It was a really boring announcement. Just 1 phone was announced.
This should be no complaining or dissappointment, but we were used better things, aren't we?

Hopefully it's running on Symbian.
I hope it's using a capacitive touchscreen.

1.Ho boy this is some spicy news. I fret not as well they might have only 2 phones so far(but they kick ass in all differenty way but ill get back later) but if you go to idou's web page it says its only the start of the show. If that means mores to come and that more is even sweeter then i am a happy camper!
2. Idou is not here it is in greek but look there in ancient greek(i know so as im in greece and its one of our main classes god damnit!) coming from the word ορω which means see. Now enough language lesssons!
3.W995. I cant believe there are people complaining about it. I find it just perfect and very nice. If only the MP where at 5 then it could get a decent 400 euro price here not 500+ and i could get it. Anyway that design is smexy. The kickstand really is cooler then the one on the N96 and that chunk thing gives it a design oomph. So yeah cant wait for it.
4. Idou is what we were all waiting for essentially but alas we have the trolls who complain and moan and groan after seeing it. Also may i ask those who see the same deisng on all walkmans these days see a similar pattern except for the metal parts in the 995? Thought so. Also 1 VERY excellent thing i noticed is theres not one micro M2 slot in sight. That there is a good sign as M2 is much more reliable then micro M2(and if you got the extra cash that can mean you can get yourself a snazzy 16GB M2 card for your phone)
I thank SE for rekindling the fire and i cant wait to see whats next.
Now after typing this its off to my kerkraft 400 pizza and coke. |

Personally, I am happy with the announcement. This is what we wanted, to see SE on the track to producing the right phones. A mid-big screen Walkman phone 8mp and 3.5 jack is about time. If idou is s60 then another good phone. That qwerty isn't too bad either if it's a smartphone, if not it's crap. |
