Seems like Samsung paid too much Eldar.Again he is reviewing Samsung i8510 and bashing SE.Yes we must agree that Samsung i8510 is good phone but why he is bashing SE everytime.Seems like something wrong there.
most of the time, he said it is better than nokia... he only mentioned SE in camera department and his opinion...

I would not own three of their phones (K750i, P990i, K770i) if I hated SE.
Impatient -- to see them produce a really good camphone that kicks Nokia's and Samsung's *sses -- is the word that better describes what I feel about SE. With every mediocre camphone they release I feel that they are getting further and further away from the lead ahead of the competition they had a few years ago with the K750/W800 phones. Now they seem to be struggling to catch up instead.
And the result of the comparison between the C905 and the i8510 would have been the other way around if they were true to their former selves!
I hear what you are saying, I really do. I'm frustrated too that SE haven't done as well as I'd have thought they would. They could so easily pwn Nokia it's not funny They just don't have the will lately. But at the end of the day they are a commercial entity and they will do what they think best for their overall strategy of success.
I'm realistic about it; they aren't taking the lead, but they still retain the things I like most about SE, ie: good ergonomics and style, so I'm happy. I also see their model line up having a fair degree of innovation and there are always a few choice models to choose from (more if your demands are lower than mine)
How the thing performs, to me, is important only that it should work reliably and as advertised, and meet a few bare minimums, such as: a quality 2MP cam (non-AF is okay but AF is better), decent audio, memory expansion, A2DP, HSDPA, (GPS and WIFI if it's a pda phone) and have good ergonomics in the media player and phone UI. If all those criteria are met, I then go with style. SE wins out for me in this area over Nokia in most cases (though I like styling of the E71)
So I stick with SE. It's a rational decision not an emotional one.

That's exactly right, and the fact is Eldar has a lot of experience with mobile phones. Whether he is right or not it's his opinion and should be respected.
And we all should have a closer look at the review probably.
Everybody, let's stop talking about people and talk about phones instead

Lol I doubt whether NZ stores know, and I wouldn't even bother asking cause it would take more time than it's worth for them to go ask other staff and make phone calls and come back and tell me they don't have a release date.
Add to this the fact that the C902 only got here last week and isn't widely available yet (I bought an imported one), I hardly think we'll be seeing the C905 here anytime soon.

(after my trekk on Everest/Nepal (10 years ago), we was very close to go to new zeeland for working......but we never went)

Output from the innov8 is bloody good, the 905 pics i have seen thus far are less than impressive, the Samsung takes the SE in every conceivable way IMO, and no, Samsung paid me zilch to say that

It's very difficult to judge cam quality until members with retail c905s start posting pics, i know 3 owners of the Samsung who provide me with pics, and they are superb, err, Nightblade, on paper, in which ways is the SE superior?

In fact, if we leave the video recording a few physical and smartphone aspects..they are both quite capable devices, better not to bash them up here. |

Very true, and we are unsure of the SE's exact retail price as yet, that would have a profound effect on it's status in relation to it's rivals.

This looks like a very nice phone.
However although 2.4 inch is nice, 2.8 would have been even better also, I think in this day and age VGA video recording should have been included.
Can you stream youtube videos on this phone? |

Just saw the pics which were supposedly taken by the phone.
Dont get your hopes up, I dont believe them for a second.
I remember when the k850 was announced and we saw the supposed pics from them, and remember what the real quality was like? |
