I really really want both of them again, but T650i is still waaay too overpriced and not available in black anywhere

I really think they could have fitted a 2.4" screen onto the phone with a little more tweaking, but the 2.2" should be fine I guess. |

just been to CPW and had a look at a dummy phone. not too impressed with the size, it looks very thick.
I was allways a bit torn with the style of it but thought once i see it i will be won over
its going to have to do a lot to win me over now. The performance will have to be outstanding in all areas to get over the style and design that hasent won me over.
really dissapointed as i have been holding out for this as a change from my k810i.
I have a k770i coming out on monday as this looks quite classy. might end up opting for this
my sentiments exactly. according to a few other people a dummy model means nothing. well it does, thats wot they r there for, 2 give ppl a good idea of what the real one will look like, and size as well as shape in ur hand. and i wasnt impressed.
also, altho the screen is a little bigger then k810i, it actually doesnt come across much bigger at all in real life. they should definatly have found some way 2 make it bigger still, or rather wider as thats the main problem. |

The phone is the same thickness as a K810i, which is thinner then my current K800i, so I see no need to complain about its size. |

also, lets compare the 3 main 5mp phones, and look at their USP's:
N95 - im sure most ppl would agree it can do a lot more (software wise) then K850, has gps, wifi, noticably bigger screen, great video recording
samsung g600 - package comes with bluetooth earpeice and 1gb mem card, but mainly the phone is tiny and almost certaintly the best looking out of the 3, so it has design and size going for it, and the pic quality aint bad.
K850 - what has this got thats innovative/new/different like the other 2? im just annoyed that se are no longer leaders. they are well behind the times. wen was the last time se brought out an innovative product? for a company that has a line of phones called 'cybershot', u'd expect their cam phones 2 be leaders and '1st's'. yet somehow nokia and samsung both manage 2 bring out innovative 5mp phones months b4 se. why wasnt se the 1st 2 bring out a 5mp phone, considering they have a dedicated cybershot range? and where is sony's answer to the N95? no where so far.
PS i no K850i has the accelorometer, but thats nothin new or innovative as the iphone had that months ago when it came. |

Since when does the G600 have HSDPA? N95 is better, but it doesnt look good. |

good that the SAR is not high
Well below the W880i, has a rating of 1.47W/kg according to this page. Any W880i users here? Do you notice the smell of burnt flesh after a long phone call?
i'm glad the k850 has a "not that high" SAR
i used the W880 for a while...after a 5 min conversation on the phone, my ear is burning red...much like when i used the old ericsson t28 and nokia n8210

You can hardly call the N95 camera innovative when it takes such poor quality images compared to the K850 or even the K800. Just having big numbers doesn't make something innovative.
btw, Sony and SE are two different companies.

dunno if that was in reply to my post, but i didnt say it has hsdpa, but its still innovative in design, for a 5mp phone its tiny and good looking. k850i having hsdpa is nothing innovative or market leading, as many handsets before it have got this feature. yea i agree n95 dont look as nice, but im sure the new 8gb version coming out definately will, im thinking of saving my upgrade for that rather then k850i. |

the n95 was the 1st proper mainstream phone to have wi-fi and gps (by proper i mean its a phone, not a pda type such as palms/xda's etc).
these are 2 massive features, and id call that pretty innovative. on top of that it had a 5mp cam which was also a 1st, and a nice big screen. and hsdpa (altho im sure it wasn't the 1st to have this).
pic quality on n95 is not poor/rubbish, im sure it aint gonna be as good as k850i, but it came out a LONG time before the k850i, and K850i engineers have had almost 9 months extra 2 work on it, so of course its going to be better, seeing as technology moves so quick. thats like sayin a new phone thats coming out next year is gonna have better pic quality then k850i, well duh of course it is if it comes out a year later when tech has advanced.
now let me ask u a question, what is innovative about K850?
ps i no they different companies, obviously i was talkin bout sony ericsson, just couldnt b bothered to write it in full, im sure most ppl have somethin better 2 do then 'correct' me on such a silly point.

Thanks for the price comparison earlier. Can more people give some price comparisons with N95. I'm trying to estimate how much it will cost me using the N95's price. |

1.GPS and WiFi is useless for most of the people.
I personally prefer HSDPA than WiFi.
Other than that, there aren't advantage over K850 ( exepct VGA recording)
2. K850 is A200 and uses JP8, but there isn't really innovative about K850.
but why still people prefer K850 over N95? because of its better build quality, size ,UI fast and stable;)
