i have been saying this since day one; i dont know why people here think will price the Arc cheap?!
trust me Arc will be priced very similar to other dual-core and high-end phones from other manufacturers, this is the reason why i know the Arc wont save this year.
I didn't think it was going to be cheap, but don't you think 460 GBP (about 737 USD) is just... waaaaay too expensive? Sure, sometimes, proucts are more expensive in the UK and this is a preorder price. However, I don't think the initial price should exceed 550 USD.

tell me how much was the nexus s priced when it was released? bare in mind this WAS a high-end device at its release. you think a mid-end phone like the Arc justifies £460??? that is a HIGH-END price tag. the LG Optimus 2X will be priced at around that figure.
EDIT:
from play.com: Arc = £450
Optimus 2X = £470
yh real cheap price there

im guessing US will see it at around $500 - $600 anyway. does'nt really matter the price in the UK, it has no correlation with US prices unfortunately. UK get shafted hard on tech prices. |

I thought everybody agreed that Nexus S is ridiculously overpriced for a Galaxy S with LED flash minus 720P video, in addition to a software update that isn't supposed to cause any price increase . Wait, it doesn't even have a MicroSD card slot.
GSMArena just wrote a review about it too.

So I'm thinking this IS11S is an imaging device i.e. fantastic cam. The xml suggests 854x480 same as arc/x10/play/neo so I'm going to guess it's somewhere around 4" in the screen. Multi-core isn't out of the question neither is 16MP. Anyone else excited?

Just a hint to any one that wants to pretend to have connections inside SE:
CHECK OUT THE JAPANESE BLOGS
For example:
"IS11S is compatible with CDMA2000 R800x communication system, otherwise supports W-CDMA communication system. "

for us, of course it wont be much of a suprise, but these events arent just to show phones to us regular forum visitors, they are for the general public also...
*just a pre warning before all the complaining starts* (perhaps start a whinge thread in the garbage section)

SE Has not had the best hardware on the market for years. Why everybody is still expecting it?
What they always have is the best looking phone. In my eyes that combined with a solid hardware is just as if not more desirable. Never even think twice about paying the premium price for that.
Anyway here in Singapore sunday has arrived
Bring the goodies
