No, they have not. But they happen, just by a coincidence, to have the same revision state, i.e. version number.
The "name" is something like "Firmware for Wilma/K800i", the product number is CXC1250210 and the revision is Rxxxx (for the K800) |

Exactly but I did not want to point this out because I would be accused of picking on the poor misguided chap.

Other findings on R1ED001:
Set an animated .gif wallpaper or a theme with animated standby. Set Applications as a shortcut in Activity Menu. Go to standby, press Activity Menu button, select Applications. Then, you have to wait for several seconds before it shows you the apps. It's not a bug, just how the system loads Java apps in 'longer time'. With still .jpg or .png non-animated wallpaper, the delay doesn't occur. It loads just a second..
EDIT: The delay is around 8-10 secs which I think depends on the size of the .gif file. The bigger the longer the delay is. Anyway, to avoid this prolonged loading, just press the Activity Menu button once again, and..wow...it suddenly shows you all apps saved in your folder without this 8-10 second delay anymore. Any opinion?

thanks mate.. sarpy baby is loving you =)
that gave me additional info. although for simple commoners like me the name is what we know. with that we are more knowledgeable.
so should we get this CX..... in the front page then? since its the complete firmware? or can we jsut live with what's currently there and assume when people ask they mean that?
thanks mate |

@baste07
While your idea may have its merits, I think it would give too much info that would be something else to confuse a sometimes already confusing issue.
What might be a good idea is to have Aremaboy start a thread dealing with either bugs or improvements. This current thread is slowing becoming larger and larger and mwarner has to sift through the chaff to find the info that needs posting. Just a though. Maybe you could help Aremaboy as you seem to be a bug hunter and this is a useful talent.

Contrary to sapporobaby, who is getting to be polite with people, you are so annoying and rude with others!
Why don't you use PM to f.ck with others?

Actually I am not getting more polite, I am simply trying to help out as I see many are having problems here. I just tend to be very blunt. It is the engineer in me I guess. Luckily I have close SE friends that fix my screw ups so I don't have to ask for help generally. However, with our friend here, I decided I will not take his utterances, but will simply expose a lack of understanding. In most cases this would be enough but some people don't learn.
Anyway, glad you decided to hang around.

Incidentally, what does "sapporobaby" mean? It it just something you made up or does it have a meaning in some language? |

Hello
Would appreciate your help on this matter if possible, would really help me.
Right.. I bought the Sony Ericsson K800i the other day on contract with O2, I live in the UK and am having great difficulty. You all know the symptons, basically the bastard is doing my head in and I've been trying since half 3 to upgrade the firmware; but to no avail.
I've been using SEUS all day, keeps saying "You currently have the most updated firmware installed" - when I don't...
I want to get this fixed for tonight if possible, I hate the god damn noise when listening to the radio and its irritating.
Could someone please leave responces in helping me or please add me on msn and we can discuss/talk about it...
Would really appreciate your generous help.
Lots of love xx
