Motorola finally launch the VE66, a month after all the details and pics were released.
Linux-based OS (MOTOMAGX), 5mp cam, wi-fi... better late than never, hey Moto?
At least it seems to have a pretty decent processor.(Freescale SCM-A11 500MHz processor).

20 million handsets down in Q4
Nokia has updated its predictions on end-of-year sales, knocking 20 million handsets off its fourth quarter forecast for the industry and promising to get rid of all those expensive external contractors.
The note comes ahead of more detailed plans which will be announced at a meeting on the December 4, but clearly the Finnish giant thought a revised expectation for the industry; of only 330 million handsets sold in the last three months of the year, was worth an early warning.
The statement points out that this is still 20 million more than were sold in the third quarter, but that quarter didn't have Christmas in it - the most significant date in mobile phone sales, at least in the, nominally, Christian world. Nokia had expected the industry to shift around 350 million handsets, and has had to revise their whole-year expectation down to 1.24bn for 2008.
They'll be more cost-cutting come December 4, but the direction it will take is clear from the note. Apparently Nokia will "curtail use of external contractors, consultants and professional services" as well as cutting operating expenses, but no mention of curtailing the Mobile 2.0 spending spree that has seen Nokia buying up likely-looking companies apparently for the fun of it.
At one point it seemed that Nokia's strategic transition into a software-and-services company was a sensible response to the growing threat from eastern manufacturers, but these days it's not easy to discern any strategy coming from Helsinki at all.'

Ye that MOTO looks great, 5mp, wi-fi, linux, 500mhz Freescale CPU? Its a slide version of the ZN5, exactly the same specs, but VE66 has a smaller screen. Still realy like the E8 design with the morphing keypad though.
EDIT: Im just watching Burn Notice, and just realised that every character has a dam MOTO V3, its 2008, cant Moto USA give them better phones??? Lol

Whoa, Bafana Bafana managed a 3-2 win against Africa's #1 soccer team, Cameroon, to win the Nelson Mandela Challenge. SA scored the first goal within 7mins and led by 2 goals for the first 24mins. Within the next 5mins Cameroon managed to equalize. But that was not to be the final verdict as in the last 10mins in the game Bafana took the lead again and won the match. We missed a penalty mind you. Overall, a good game by bafana...

Guys, i'm stumped. I installed Adobe's CS 2 the other day on the PC, then realized that i wouldn't need half of those features. Uninstalled the whole shebang with the notion of reinstalling afterwards... nett result is now the dreaded blue screen of death. I've started up in Safe Mode, run Sigverif via Start/Run to try to determine which driver is the culprit, but they all check out. Restoring to a backup point doesn't help either.
Any ideas?
