A camphone like that would not take the shine off the Arc, it would be like Satio and Vivaz.
Let's assume it has a dual core processor and 16mp camera with a xenon flash then it is in a different league to the Arc. It is likely to be more expensive also and will unlikely be released at the same time, maybe at the end of Q2. I don't see any competition there whatsoever.
I just want the Arc NOW!

There won't be any surprises, or any big surprize. Akane and Azuka are specialized termial only and exclusively for Japan market only. Sonyericsson won't release 16Mp dual core in this spring or in this summer, maybe in Q2 but not now. We won't see anything new.. at MWC Barcelona.  |

Totally agree with you..
Arc is not yet out in the market if they announce something better then they will kill ARC before it even launches.. Most of us who are planning to buy Arc wont buy this and go for better..
General public dont no dual core nor major tech stuff..
Arc is sexy and big and little cheaper so ppl will buy this than expensive dual core phone..
Big surprise is XPERIA PLAY nothing else..

Because  Arc isn't a phone that holds 2011/this year's standards, isn't specifically a high-end phone and only a follow up/update of X10?
Well, it is not like I disagree with you. As much as I want a 16 megapixel & 1080P and proper specs, I think it is unlikely to happen tomorrow.
I mean, the Arc's preorder price was 460 GBP, which is ridiculously high if you ask me. So, if they made a 16 megapixel phone, how much would they charge for it? If it is not much higher than the Arc, then getting the Arc would be a bad choice.
I think the Arc has to be significantly cheaper if Sony Ericsson is going to make the super phone that everybody is dreaming about. And even if it won't exist, the Arc has to be cheaper anyway. But that's another issue.
Man, this super phone will always be a dream or only exists in Japan, hardware wise (S006).

i have been saying this since day one; i dont know why people here think will price the Arc cheap?!
trust me Arc will be priced very similar to other dual-core and high-end phones from other manufacturers, this is the reason why i know the Arc wont save this year. |
