I dont think is hardware that w810i camera better then K800i. I think is Kriomag 21.8 driver that do the magic. Thank you very much Kriomag for this cool driver.

I compared this cameras to. K800 tends to blure picture with internal noise reduction. But has much better white balance. We have not. To compare -just make pictures of white page with yellow drowing by FLUORESCENT text flasher pensil. We have had dirty yellow color on picture, K800 has realy FLUORESCENT yellow color.

Just something I noticed on 5.03 .. if youre in low light, like maybe indoors at night with a lamp on or something like that, then you might be better off using regular night mode and an EV of around -0.7.. this way, you end up with a good shot without much noise and it doesn't take too long.. try it out |

@danielcps
K800 picture is much more bright, nothing more. probably because value in seq_set_prop_0 which is '9' instead of 'A' in all k750/w800 camdrv. |

Don't know why you guys ask for 16x zoom... I mean do you really take pix with 16x?? 4x is optimas, maybe 8x-10x max.
@679
why do you need that fixed focus function? If you wanna take fast pix, use focus to infinity (1.1) It does the job great!
btw... can someone take a picture with a K800i and a K750/W8xx - with Krio's new driver, and send it to me (or link). i wanna compare them (both pix in daylight and same spot)
thx

For exampe on party or picnic i want make fast close portrait (0.8m distance) or group portrait (1.5m). With infinity i'll get blure pictures. See bellow - distance = 1m
Zoom 1.1 - infinity
Zoom 1.0- autofocus works.

@Kriomag.
Well, its only problem to remember link zoom-distance. For manual focus it will longer time than autofocus. I prefer presets as in cheap cams... |

hi can you just explain the manual focus settings .. i mean 1.8 is equal to what exactly, and if its set to 4 what does that mean to me as a user.
is it that 1.8 has a focus up to .8m and 4 will be 4m ?
im really confused by this manual focus.
